The updates to GT Sport are coming thick and fast this Spring. Hot on the heels of the v1.15 content update, we’re due another patch this week.
Gamers logging in today will find a maintenance update notification for April 4. This is to be expected, as Polyphony Digital carries out server maintenance every Wednesday. However, this notification includes a post-maintenance update:
At the following time, we will perform maintenance on the ‘Gran Turismo Sport’ servers.
A new game update will also be available after the maintenance.Please note that during this time the online services, including [Sport Mode], will not be available.

Although we’re expecting an April update soon, this is a little too soon. It’s unlikely then that this will bring any new content. Instead it’s probably a patch to address some of the issues brought with the v1.15 update, such as the mysterious fault with Thrustmaster wheels and the sound glitch.
As always, the game’s online save will be unavailable during the maintenance, and remain so until users install the update patch. We recommend a manual save well before the maintenance window opens.
