UPDATE: The article originally suggested the T150/TMX PRO wheels may be new products by Thrustmaster, but as a few commenters pointed out, that’s not the case. The PRO is a Gamestop-exclusive bundle pairing the T150/TMX with a set of T3PA pedals. Thanks to everybody that pointed that out!

Since I don’t currently have, or have ever had, a wheel of any sort, I guess this is where I smile and be thankful that the trusty old console gamepads are always supported…

…and then that smile turns back to a frown when I once again acknowledge how much slower I am in the game than everyone who has a wheel!

ha, dont be silly there are many people that are absolute monsters with controllers sometimes challenging the leadership podium spots. generally the biggest downside is not knowing how much to counter steer but controller support is fantastic and you can be very effective with it.

There is a adaptor call Crosshair and it allows you to use it g25/27 on the ps4. It’s about $130 and actually works with no problems

Just a Quick Update. From Fanatec own Support
Seems like AC on PS4 will Support Fanatec, probably through a patch..
    just won’t be day one…

“Games which are currently (February 2016) compatible to Fanatec sim-racing hardware are:

    F1 2015
    Project CARS
    Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo
    The Crew
    WRC 5
    Dirt Rally

Upcoming games which will be compatible:
    Assetto Corsa”

My wheel is a logitech momo racing. It’s cheap, have force feedback and good response and is abandoned by these dictators. I can put a lot of more good wheels here, like Thrustmaster F430, and the famous G27.
They are ******* with our pocket when they don’t support all the good pieces.

And t80, without force feedback, still on the list… cause it is ‘official’. Hell!!!

    1. Sikumatchbox

The Thrustmaster F430 will probably work. I know that in F1 2015 it is
recognized as T100. Maybe in other games too. But I’m not sure.

We’ve known for a good long while that older Logitech wheels are not compatible with current gen consoles. Every time a new game comes close to release the same old cries of “I won’t be buying it cos my 15 year old Logitech isn’t supported” It’s not the game developers fault a certain wheel isn’t supported, blame that on the console and wheel manufacturer as they ultimately have the final say on what can be used.
I’m sure any game developer would prefer any and all wheels to be used on their title, it’s in their interest as the more compatible wheels, the more possible sales ! The direct opposite is true for wheel manufacturer’s though, they want you to buy their latest wheels and not their older gear. Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatic etc etc have to pay Sony / Microsoft to gain compatibility so it stands to reason they won’t pay for older, no longer in production gear. They want to sell more of their current gear, that where their money comes from.

    Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On
    Thrustmaster Ferrari GTE Wheel Add-On
Thrustmaster TM Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On
Thrustmaster 599 XX EVO 30 Wheel Add-On Alcantara Edition

Is the above simply added to make the list look longer than it really is? A game does not in any way communicate to a wheel add-on, it communicates with the servo base. If the servo base is supported by a game, EVERY wheel compatible with that base works automatically.

What is the deal with all the Thrustmaster wheels? After dealing with them when my last wheel broke, they will never have my business again. I would rather use a standard controller before I spend a dime before I buy their crap.

    1. TwinTurbo LM

And to be fair, we’ve known about Logitech wheel compatibility on current gen consoles for a while now.

  6. Figuur84

The ‘PRO’ versions of the T150 and TMX are simply the t150/TMX with the T3PA pedals in a box, instead of the standard pedals they come with now. No need for hype here ;)

    1. wallpaper42

Darn I wish they did that with the T300 RS. And then came out with a cheaper shifter and I’d be set…

    2. ribloGT

The T300 Alcantara is the deluxe version of the wheel including the TP3 pedals…
But you still neel to buy the shifter to use the third pedal…
