Kunos Simulazioni has announced the first content update for the Early Access version of Assetto Corsa EVO will be with us soon, arriving for free on February 19.
Dubbed 0.1.6, this will expand the current content roster quite considerably with an increase in 10% for the car list and 20% for the track list. Admittedly that’s an increase of two cars and one track, with the initial version of the game sporting 20 vehicles and five circuit locations.
We already knew that the track in question would be the Fuji Speedway circuit location in Japan, as it was specifically named in the road map published by KS back in January. It’s a debut for the course in the Assetto Corsa series, perhaps surprisingly given its appearances in the real-world GT World Challenge Asia could have merited its inclusion in ACC.
As the tricky Dunlop Chicane is shown a couple of times in the Gran Turismo-esque update video above, we’re expecting this to be just the full course and not the GT variant too, but as Suzuka has a couple of variants in the game you never know… Per the roadmap, we’re also expecting some new “Special Events” at the new location.

In car terms it’s a very Italian update — as you might expect from the very Italian studio! — featuring a classic rally machine and a modern day track toy/homologation special from two different brands.
The former is a very good fit given its name, as the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II joins the grid. This was the final production form of the famous Delta, which had been the basis for six successive World Rally Championship titles for the brand (and four for its drivers), and is presented here as the limited edition, 220-example “Giallo Ginestra” (“Broom Yellow”) model named for its distinctive paintwork.
Lancia as a brand was previously shown in the Early Access trailer but until now didn’t have a car to fill it. The second new car represents an entirely new brand for pre-release version, which we’ve only previously seen in teaser screenshots in mid-2024: Lamborghini.
That’s represented by the Lamborghini Huracan STO, or “Super Trofeo Omologato”. You can probably guess from the name that it’s a homologation model for the Huracan Super Trofeo race car, and this track-day special features more power and less weight. That entire “cofango” front hood is carbon-fiber, along with about 75% of the body, and a special snorkel feeds air into the 631hp, 5.2-liter V10.
It’ll be about five weeks between the EA launch and this first content update, and we’re expecting a similar time-frame for all of the various updates and content drops. That means you can probably anticipate the second full update — probably 0.2.0 — some time in mid- to late-March, with five cars, Circuit of the Americas, and new features.
