The next chapter of the Gran Turismo series was officially revealed during Sony’s presentation at Paris Games Week today! As early reports indicated, the new PlayStation 4 game will be called “Gran Turismo Sport”, and the previously announced FIA Online Championship will take center stage in the new title.

The NISMO PlayStation GT Academy European Race Camp gets underway today at the Yas Marina Formula One circuit in Abu Dhabi today. The intensive, week-long racing driver boot camp sees 56 Gran Turismo gamers from 11 European countries gather in the United Arab Emirates’ capital city. The latest version update for Gran Turismo 6 has gone live and brings with it the final piece of the GT6 puzzle – the Course Maker (or, more specifically, the “Track Path Editor”)!

The #23 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 line-up of Alex Buncombe (GB), Katsumasa Chiyo (JAP) and Wolfgang Reip (BEL) has won the Blancpain Endurance PRO Driver’s Championship. Third place in a nail-biting, season-closing race at the Nürburgring in Germany sealed the title win for Nissan after a season of hard racing in what is accepted to be the biggest GT championship in the world.

UPDATE: Although these numbers were reported in official court documents, they have since been discredited. Thanks to detective work from NeoGAF and here in GTPlanet’s community, we see the judge quoted sales numbers by VIRAG in their original claims against SCEA, made in July of 2014.
