British Retailer Hints at Forza Horizon 3 Demo Coming September 12

The worldwide release of Forza Horizon 3 is weeks away, but those looking to venture into Playground Games’ rendition of the Australian Outback may not need to wait much longer.

An image posted to the Russian site GameMag.ru (by author Nicktim), and shared in our Forza Horizon 3 forum by GTPlanet member Nigrick, shows kiosk signage promoting the forthcoming Forza title. Curiously, the tattered surround indicates a “free demo available from 12th Sept” just below the bottom right corner of the monitor.

While an official announcement has come from neither Turn 10 Studios nor Playground Games, there is little reason to suspect the finding is not credible. The photo, presumably taken inside a GAME retail store, captures accurate information, including the early access date for owners of the Ultimate Edition.

Further supporting the discovery’s legitimacy, fans of the series may remember a demo preceded the 2014 launch of Forza Horizon 2, giving Xbox One users a teaser of the game’s south European countryside.

What the signage does not suggest, however, is the availability of a demo for Xbox One and Windows 10 users. When unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June, Microsoft announced Forza Horizon 3 as one of its Crossplay titles, making this the famed franchise’s first to be fully-fleshed out for Xbox One consoles and Windows 10 PCs.

Demo or not, Forza Horizon 3 will debut on both platforms come Sept. 27, while owners of the Ultimate Edition will receive early access to the open world racer starting Sept. 23.

I was gonna say let me find out the site is getting it’s news from the forums now. We been talking about that pic for atleast a week now. Keep fighting the good fight though

I wonder what kind of access will we have, is the whole map open during the demo?

I don’t remember if there was an FH2 demo, but the Demo in FH1 only had a small portion of the map and a handful of races.

Man the price is nonsense in Canada for the Ultimate Edition… 129,99$… I hope they don’t increase these pre-order prices anymore, that’s a scary price. I think US and EU had the Ultimate Edition for like, 99,99$ or 109,99$?

    Awesome
I’ve been waiting very impatiently for this

The buggys, stadium/super trucks and ute’s have my undivided attention

Hopefully we can get the demo on PC too so we can see how well the game runs.

(By the way, who are you Dustin Moore???)

Hello, Ameer67; what a keen eye you have! I am the newest contributing writer to join the GTPlanet team. I suspect you’ll see a lot more from me, as it relates to Forza Motorsport; but, do look for me to get in on other topics as well.

I am thrilled to have a role in bringing more great content to the site, and I look forward to getting familiar with the community as we roll on down the road!

Demo date makes sense……..I just hope we get different content than what we’ve watched over and over again from the E3 demo! Thanks Playground games – looking forward to this release.
