In a little bit of a surprise announcement, Kunos Simulazioni has confirmed details about the open-world map that will feature in Assetto Corsa EVO — and it’s quite something from the sound of it.

Davide Brivio, game director for Assetto Corsa EVO at Kunos Simulazioni, has revealed that the game will offer the ability to option your cars from the showroom — including different standard engines and specifications — just as you would in the real world.

Kunos Simulazioni has taken part in a keynote presentation at the 2024 ADAC Sim Racing Expo in Dortmund, revealing more about the upcoming early access launch of Assetto Corsa Evo.

Although we’ve known about it for quite a while now, Kunos Simulazioni has finally made an official announcement of Assetto Corsa EVO with a special trailer just for the occasion.

The hotly anticipated sequel to 2014’s Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa EVO, is going to miss its planned 2024 launch window according to the most recent financial statements from Digital Bros.
