The #AcrossTheHorizon tour has landed in Northern Ontario. Xbox Canada invited GTPlanet to join in the festivities to celebrate the upcoming release of Forza Horizon 3, and this is the third leg of the cross-country tour. Just as we have on the earlier stops, we need your votes to determine what activity we do next.

While we’re just over a week away from Early Access users being able to tour the entirety of the Australian Outback, mumblings of an exciting ride expected to appear in this year’s open world racer have surfaced.
We’re coming at you from the largest city in Saskatchewan on the second leg of the #AcrossTheHorizon tour with Xbox Canada. GTPlanet is tagging along on a portion of the trip, which started in Vancouver on Monday.

Gamers heading to Gamescom in Cologne this week are amongst the first of the public to sample Playground Games’ latest Forza title, Horizon 3. The show-floor demo is the same one we witnessed during the game’s E3 debut in June though, leaving fans eager to see more of the game before its launch in five weeks’ time. Interviews and accompanying play-throughs have been happening behind closed doors however, and Xbox On has exclusive footage from one of these meetings.
Gamescom 2016 has gotten underway today in Cologne, Germany. Forza Horizon 3 is present, and while it appears the demo on the show floor is the same one as when the game was first unveiled at E3 in June, Playground Games’ Ralph Fulton is on-site to discuss the title.
It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Forza Horizon 3 is shaping up to have the most fun car roster in any current-gen racer. The next video is all about visual presentation. IGN has recorded some Forza Horizon 3 video footage featuring one of the game’s cross-country competitions in 4k (2160p) resolution, the current peak of display technology. The various changes in the terrain surfaces the cars were running on offer good opportunity to inspect the technical abilities of the upcoming free-roam game. The stunt sections provide a great example as well.
Another week, and another list of cars set to be included in the upcoming Forza Horizon 3. Last week’s additions focused on European classics like the Ferrari 166M and Jaguar Mk II; the list unveiled today (care of Autoblog) focuses on the vehicles more likely to be spotted off the road than on it. Yesterday, we saw the latest batch of car reveals for Forza Horizon 3. The Australian media got an exclusive early look before the official site was updated today. However, it looks like someone accidentally released next week’s list early.
It looks like the tradition of weekly reveals will continue for the latest installment in the Forza franchise. Last week the first 150 cars were revealed for the upcoming open-world game, and today, another 34 are added to the list.
