Slightly Mad Studios have begun teasing this month’s upcoming DLC for Project CARS. This news comes just two weeks after the recently released Old vs. New Car Pack that introduced iconic classic cars and their modern day counterparts.
The first track expansion for Project CARS is now available across all platforms and introduces Ruapuna Park International Raceway, premier racing facility in New Zealand. The expansion extends the game’s already impressive selection of tracks and includes the following variations:
Patch 2.0 is now available for Project CARS across all platforms and promises to fix a number of issues brought to light by the passionate community. Weighing in at 1.4GB, the 2.0 patch covers a wide range of areas and the fixes for all platforms are as follows:
A new Community Event is available in Project CARS from Friday 26th June 2015, featuring the open desert backdrop of the Dubai Autodrome’s International Circuit.

The much anticipated 1.4 patch for Project CARS is now rolling out, with the PC and PS4 versions already available, no word yet on when the XBox One version will be released. Andy Garton, SMS Development Director, confirmed the PS4 version, saying “The PS4 patch is now ready and will be released asap today.”

Two new Community Events are now available in Project Cars, both tying into Motorsport events running this weekend. The first celebrates the Blancpain GT Series round taking place at Circuit Zolder and features the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.

Project CARS officially releases today in Europe and Australia in physical copies, and worldwide as a digital download via Steam. Those residing in the UK only have one more day to wait, while residents in North America will have to wait until next week Tuesday, May 12th to purchase a physical copy of the game.
