This weekend marks one year since Forza Horizon 3 was first released. To celebrate the occasion, the latest Forzathon events offer players a new batch of car and manufacturer-specific challenges.
The big prize this week is a brand new special car, the Mini John Cooper Works GP Horizon Edition. The “Join The Party” objective requires players to complete 3 Playground Games online in a modern Mini in order to receive the elusive Horizon-spec JCW GP.
Looking for friends to help with the Playground Games? Be sure to drop by our FH3 forums.
Ferrari, the Lamborghini Centenario, and Final Fantasy XV’s Quartz Regalia also play a role in the other event objectives, securing players a total of 320,000 CR, 3 Wheelspins and 80,000 XP.
The Mini HE stars alongside the usual credits, XP and Wheelspin prizes. We’ve listed the rest of the challenges below:
- Join The Party – Finish 3 Playground Games in a Mini to win the John Cooper Works GP HE
- Noct Out – Complete a Head-to-Head Race in the Quartz Regalia to win 3 Wheelspins
- Going Strong – Get 3 Stars on 3 Speed Traps in the Lamborghini Centenario to receive 120,000 CR and 80,000 XP
- Thoroughbred – Perform 20 Threading the Needle Skills in a Ferrari to receive 200,000 CR
This week’s Forzathon will be the last before the full release of Forza Motorsport 7. Early access for Turn 10’s latest game begins on September 29, where Forzathon events will be returning.
Forzathon will still continue on FH3, as we’ve detailed the rest of the events running through to November here.
Players looking for tips and tricks for these challenges can head to the dedicated forum thread. The “Happy Anniversary” event runs until Wednesday, September 27.
