Change Racing will be returning to this year’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with a new sponsor on board: Microsoft. Forza Motorsport branding is now present on the team’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3, driven by Corey Lewis along with Jeroen Mul, and will be competing in the GTD class at the upcoming Rolex 24 at Daytona (January 28).
Since Forza is the best-selling racing game series on the Xbox One, this partnership will definitely have its benefits. As shown with the critically-acclaimed Forza Horizon 3, racing games are a good way for a team like Change Racing to get exposure in front of large audiences of both video gamers and motorsport fans.
Windows and Xbox players are also in for a treat. The team’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 with its fresh livery will be making its way into Forza Horizon 3 some time in the future, according to a recent post on the official Forza website. No specific date has been given about when that will be happening, but we will be sure to keep an eye out for it.
Forza Horizon 3 is currently available for Xbox One and Windows 10.
