After what we’d describe as a carefully managed car list reveal for GRID over the last couple of months, Codemasters has decided to unplug the cork. Although there’s still just over six weeks until the game hits the shelves, we’ve now got what Codies describes as “almost” the full car list in one hit.
Coming in at 60 cars long it’s not the biggest car roster out there, but there is a little something for almost everyone. There’s half a century of motorsport history in the field, ranging from classic Le Mans cars and Can-Am racers to modern, tuned time attack beasts. Ferrari and Porsche both show up, making up nearly a sixth of the list, along with classic rivalries like Ford and Holden, Ford and Nissan, Ford and Chevrolet, Ford and other Fords, and Mitsubishi and Subaru.
GRID splits its car list up into categories. At the moment these are Tuner, GT, Touring, Stock, Prototype, and Open Wheel. The complete car list, at least for now, is as follows:

Codemasters reckons that there may be another couple of cars “hidden up our sleeves”, which it will no doubt reveal in due course. GRID will launch on October 11 on PS4, XBox One and PC.
