Derek Speare Designs is one of the sonorous brands of the sim-racing components market. It crafted its popularity by producing various button boxes, pedals, shifters and other accessories of high quality. It seems that the company has no intentions of resting on its laurels, as DSD recently revealed components for what appears to be a new rig for eager driving enthusiasts.
The new chassis is hand-built in America and it highly emphasizes durability and quality of the structure. The full set of features is listed below:

The chassis will appear on sale in Spring of 2016. The price has yet to be announced, although it is possible to register for upcoming news regarding taking orders on the official website. Initially, the chassis is going to be shipped only within the United States, while distribution to other parts of the world is still being considered.

It looks like the angle of the wheel mount doesn’t adjust, and bring the wheel closer to the player would raise it up as well.

Look at the third picture. It looks like, that there are 2 clamps connected to the wheelmount and the tube. I think, unscrewing the nuts will effect into a turnable wheelmount.

You’re quite correct – there’s a couple of sizable U clamps under the steering wheel plate that look like they’re adjust at setup more than regular adjustment.
Overall this is a very well thought out bit of kit, with pedal & wheel reach easy adjustment and more ‘formal’ adjustment for the rest.
In picture 2 you can see the mounting plate is tilting forward slightly. My budget setup does the same thing with seat adjustment and it works for everyone so far.
