No more shaky cell phone footage! Polyphony is following up yesterday’s new GT Sport 4K trailer showing with multiple direct-capture clips of the latest build. We’re bringing you the first batch of videos here, focusing on the Green Hell.
Up first — and up top — is the Mercedes-AMG GT3 running an overcast version of the track. The GT3-spec machine featured heavily in yesterday’s trailer, as one of many newly-revealed cars. It also was spotted in some of the new 124 hi-res GT Sport images Polyphony released last night.
Realism has been a calling card of Gran Turismo games for a long time, but this video takes that to new heights. For comparison purposes, check out the real-world video of the same car running the final minutes of the 2016 Nürburgring 24H. Uncanny, right?

Next up, Polyphony’s take on a Corvette C7 racer — don’t call it a C7.R. This race takes place in an altogether more sunny setting, with a late-evening glow cast over the forest, as the all-American racer tracks down Kazunori Yamauchi’s own 2016 N24 ride, the Walkenhorst BMW M6.
There’s more where this came from, so stay tuned as the second day of PlayStation Experience 2016 gets underway.
