Codemasters’ F1 2017 is beginning to wind down after an impressive year for the game. Last year’s game was a home run that captured the nuance of the sport. If you’re a fan and have yet to try last year’s game, head on over to our review for a sampler.
With the 2018 F1 season kicking off, Codemasters turns its attention to the next game in the series. Beta applications for this year’s title are now open and you can apply here. Applications are open to players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. There is one caveat: Codemasters cannot offer PlayStation codes to residents outside of Europe and Oceania.
This year, the team looks to handle things a little different by including an online and offline beta. F1 2017 is going to be a tough act to follow, and that’s where you come in. With applications open, the team wants feedback on last year’s game to help shape what’s to come.

There aren’t many concrete details on the beta or this year’s F1 game at this point, as expected. As we close in on this year’s E3, the official reveal is due sooner rather than later. This year’s Esports Series kicks off tomorrow which you can find out more about here.
In the meantime, keep an eye peeled to GTPlanet for more on the beta and F1 2018.
