Following a trial promotional period back in December 2024, Fanatec has now made the move to implement free standard shipping by default for all orders in “mainland” territories.
While players can still select a paid “express shipping” option, if they want their products a little sooner, the standard tier is — as of February 7 — now free for most players in most regions.

The “mainland” stipulation is an interesting one. Back in the promotional period in late 2024, this included the contiguous United States but not Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada in the North American store, while the UK was not included in the free shipping deal in the European store.
Fanatec has yet to confirm if this will be the case again now that free shipping is standard rather than promotional, but we’re sure that neither Brexit nor a burgeoning trade war in North America helps matters on that front.
Along with the shift to make free shipping the standard, Fanatec has also made a change to its wheel hardware across the board with the QR2 quick release now fitted as standard to all bases and rims.
That, says the now Corsair-owned brand, has necessitated a change in pricings up and down the range — although the “pricing adjustments” are pretty variable depending on the product and region.
As a quick example, the Gran Turismo DD Extreme base and wheel bundle — as used in the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series finals in Amsterdam — remains at the same €1299.95 in the European store, but has increased from $1299.95 to $1399.99 in the US store.
There’s a similar situation with the GT DD Pro, with both 5Nm and 8Nm bundles increasing by $50 to $749.99 and $849.99 respectively, while remaining at €699.95 and €799.90 in the European store.
It’s not all an uptick in pricing though, as items like the ClubSport Pedals V3 Inverted have seen a steep drop in pricing from $599.95 earlier in the month to $429.99 now – with a similar price drop in the European store. Curiously the regular V3s remain at $399.99 in the US but are discounted €70 in Europe.
