    herpa derp thats nothing what the game sounds like. This is on youtube and was recorded with an unknown device. It could really sound like a vacuum. Oh and gt5ps chase cam sounds great already, so there is never room for improvement, regardless of what you think you hear.

    The game sounds great! and I know some gt5p cars sounded good from chase cam, but this miata sounds very good IMO and others apparently.

    Cant wait!

    If this is just a stolen real full game disc that someone got before it hit the shelves, then LMAO, serves Sony right. I want this guy to go bonkers with video details. In my opinion, I should be playing this game already, so bring on the spoilers! Jordan, as the intel rolls in, give us everything you get, just put spoiler warning on it for those who still want to be surprised. I dont, I want intel NOW! lol. This guy has totally beat Sony to the punch and this is what those punks deserved. I call epic, pirate or not. Epic Savy Pirate Manuever! All except the part where he’s logged into PSN instead of playing it offline, lol. Id assume this isnt a jailbreak copy, that wouldnt be good for us. Sony would just pull all the discs back and retry a new code again for another month+ delay.

    OMG yes i kept quite through out all the “leaked” info cause it could be fake but this is a deal breaker for me im SSSOOOO EXCITED man i am looking for a Career right now but i am telling them my start date has to be at least a week after the gt release :)

    this is pretty immense. stuff. also i did a bit of theorizing about the dates of gt 5 release.
    the origonal order of release before was as follows :

    US – NOV 2
    EUROPE – NOV 3
    AUS – NOV 4
    UK – NOV 5

    now with sony having the 30th nov on their site and the whole madrid party thing, it would put US and EU dates at 30th nov and dec 1st. then i looked at the UK stores and most have put their date to the thrid. this is all pretty coincidential dont you think? :D

    Time to go away from GT Planet, and the internet in general, for a while. Been waiting too long to experience this myself. Don’t want to ruin it now. It’s nice to know it’s for real though.     Im pretty sure that you hear more noise from the outside of a car than from the inside, when inside the sound dampening usually cuts down on the noise, hopefully PD didn’t dial up the wind noise as if we all drive with the windows down at 70+ mph. Who the hell does that?

    The OP should have went straight to Arcade mode and shown cars that we haven’t seen yet. Show some standard and some premium cars…just a thought you know. But all in all the sounds are impressive, much more so that GT5P, I listened to that in 5.1 surround and certain engine notes in the corvette are downplayed, the sound is there but it’s lost in translation somehow. Can’t wait to have this home, hopefully sooner rather than later, looks like pre thanksgiving release might be in the cards, yip yip!

      How can you tell? Have you played any GT games since GT2? Physics has changed in each iteration as well as sound reproduction, the two important factors and the amount of people playing each can attest to it. We do have the odd many who cry and moan about things GT doesn’t do because some other car game does…play that other game then and shut up. This is GT, not Forza, not ToCa, not Need for Speed…PD has their own direction and this is their product, play or not, like it or not, this is their contribution. People will complain about anything and everything.

      calm down dude obviously I know things have changed. I’m just saying that it still feels like GT2. From the way a race starts, the camera angles, the slow cars all bumping into each other on the first turn. All i was saying is it reminded me of when I first got GT2

    Looks great, I just can’t beleive we still haven’t got a god damn release date, I thought Sony/PD said we would know by the end of the October.

    Is Sony waiting everything to be 100% secure before releasing the date? Are they afraid to make another mistake?

      Sony doesn’t want to make a release that isn’t 100 percent fail proof… They can’t do it without looking like a complete fool. I would almost expect things to happen really quickly (i.e. They come out next week to announce the release date being the following week.)

      It sucks for us, yes, because we aren’t getting the release date and they probably could have gave one shortly after they found out that November 2nd wasn’t going to happen, but it will be out within the next 30 days and an announcement will be soon. Looking at it in a business perspective and not a consumer or a fan… I understand the thought process of why they haven’t said anything at this time and wont to be absolutely sure that the next date out of their mouths is without a doubt the date it comes out.

      PLUS… Sony isn’t really losing out on a lot. Most of the people that would have ran out and got it at the beginning of November are STILL going to run out and get it as soon as it is released and we still haven’t hit the Holiday shopping for the majority… Mix that in with the publicity it’s getting in local adds (every retailer had GT5 in its adds on Sunday from Target to Best Buy) and the game will probably make every bit of money they expected it to for 2010 even if it was a month later than they originally expected.

    Yeah, envy sucks! Is it me or does that Miata sound like it may have had cat-back exhaust on it already? which is a possibility…come on Sony announce that official release date for us commoners! Sure would be nice…and this time doesn’t seem like it would be delayed again..not with new news like this…ty Jordan.

    I have to admit what miffs me a little bit is how is it that people have this and are playing at home yet theres still no official release date, how is it this person, or people, are so special that they have a final copy before an official release date has been announced. Who do I have to sell my soul to in order to get a copy right now.

    Yeah the engine sound is not like a vacuum cleaner this time arount , though I wonder how it will sound on the cockpit view.. Which matters the most for the majority of us..

      What nobody understands is that little road cars like Miatas do actually sound like vacuum cleaners from more than a few metres away. Also GT’s cockpit sound was pretty darn good in Prologue.

      Im not saying the samples were accurate. I’m saying the cockpit sound was good. Imo the sound ENGINE in Gran Turismo has always been excellent, with poor, inconsistent samples to blame.

    Nice Jordan haha you are a fast guy. i was seeing this i found it at the forum like you.And i almost copy the link here but if i made this for sure you wanna kill me. LOL.
    And people i was thinking a bit and it´s easy to get this kind of stuff if you know the correct person or if you are involved in transports or something like that.
    Some people use to stole some thing to sale in the “black market” but it isn´t a black market…for sure the guy who has this game knows someone who delivery the copies of GT5 and there are so many of them…so…imagine…he pays 100 and tell this guy…”hey man stole a copy for me” and thats all. That shit happens in all world an most of all in ports with the containers in ships.
    We all know this but we are legal…we pay for it, he pays too but he is not a legal guy. Who cares…we have the proof that the game is coming and maybe in about 3 weeks we are seeing it at the stores. :P

    I have a couple of questions.. Where’s the damage system? And where’s the copy I paid for?? Isn’t fair that someone can get the game before the release… And we still waiting for a release date!!

    Best sounds I’ve heard from a Gran Turismo game. Looks great. I’m also glad that the intro and other fun things for a new game aren’t all ruined for me after viewing as well. :)

      please go play prologue using this view. the sound is just as good with chase cam in gt5p as it is here. I’m not trying to be a douche but people forget how different the sound changes with each camera view (as it should) & prologue had great sound from chase cam as well

      I agree. the sound issue never bothered me before & if it’s improved in gt5, it’s a huge bonus but not a dealbreaker

      BUT, don’t forget guys, the cars sounded great from that view in prologue as well so this isn’t proof that sound is improved. Don’t forget the sound changes dramatically depending what view you use. Just sayin
