I tried this set-up once while driving with @MannYhAvitZ at Sierra some months ago. It was a lot of fun but initially I only had the stock two gears and therefore topped out rather quickly on the straights (277 km/h). But my lord the torque was amazing. I smiled from ear to ear as Manny had no chance in the corners in the car he was driving (can't remember which one).

Setting the car up for five gears obviously makes it more enjoyable and so I did that and went for a lap around the Nordschleife. The thing is a beast. The body is like a huge gorilla and the engine an angry papa lion on steroids.

It's great for me too on a personal level to drive this because my dad had an old Suburban that looked very much like this El Camino (only blue), but
he sold it when I was still young.

For some possibly good racing though I trimmed the power parts down until the car landed at 500pp and I fitted SS tyres on it. Now we're talking. :)
This is something I'd like to do with fifteen other drivers/friends and I might just set that up to see what the interest is.

getting the power down on this monster is tough but you've done a good job jocke. I managed to beat a zz in it today.. okay, maybe not with the best pilot but I still beat it! It always gets a good reaction on track. Good tune mate.
I've just bought this to try your tune out at the Nordschleife. I followed the tune exactly except that I didn't install the roof. It's a beast! Very fun to drive. It also feels like it could be made into a good drift car.

You didn't think it was difficult to tame the beast, Mallet? I sure did. A little too much power for me. =) Thanks for the review.
