GT-R GT500 Base Model '08

I sorta happened upon this tune by slowly adjusting the stock setup. I was specifically looking to get the gold in a Seasonal Event at Suzuka and was honestly quite amazed at how fast I got as a result. I have had good success at Apricot Hill and even more at Brands Hatch GP as well. I think this tune handles long sweeping turns as well as sharp ones, Motegi Road Course is one of my testing tracks. In my opinion, this tune offers excellent mechanical grip and predictable slides - that's all I really need from a car, I can manage the rest.

You'll notice I like lots of forward bite and prefer to use the suspension to gain corner maneuverability than the limited slip. I also overdrive corners and use brake balance and limited slip to bail me out. Hey, better to know your faults than not, right?

In closing, this tune is designed for racing hard tires. Your style may benefit greatly from softer tires. Softer tires make me faster but I find the grip levels very consistent. I hope this tune works well for you.
