Well, originally I attempted to make a SSR11 from the first GT, but due to some limitations of the Course maker, I had to improvise a bit. So I made a mixup from the version in GT3 and in GT1 and combined them together. So the chicane originally from GT3 was replaced with the one from GT1. Also for its length of 4.19 Miles (6.734km) is fairly big enough. A GT500 car is able to do one lap in less than 2.5 minutes. Also as a classic track I do enjoy racing on this track, especially in the evening.

A video is also available here:

Also I have redone the icon of that track in higher resolution. Feel free to use it for your videos or anything else. :)

Excellent attempt. Track width should be much, much more though. 15m would be great as it's fictional expressway for most of the length.

The signature chicane halfway through is far too tight. It's more like Monza than R11. The thrill of GT1 was going through their full gas - just barely possible if you had perfect line.

The start/finish should be much straight for longer. The first turn lead-in was a real corner, in the most insane cars you were at full steering the whole way around it. While braking. Sideways.

The final chicane lead-out also seems to have far too open profile. It's more like Parabolica than R11. The corner was fast but it was hard to keep the car on the track at the exit of R11. A bit like the end of R5 in this way.

The distance between certain turns is a bit too long. It would be great to have a track map on the resource page so we can give feedback with corner numbers!

It's totally flat, which is good. The original only had a few ramps and a couple of banked turns. Would love to see a v2 of this as it's the best layout compromise I've seen so far.
