Wooden tyres? SH is perfect for this car and the handling is very natural.
Anything softer would be unrealistic.
From a bit of experimenting, my conclusion is that SH in GT7 is the closest thing to stock tyres on most modern performance cars...
Thanks! I didn't expect there are so many viable tunes. In fact before I came back to this post, I just got 1/2/1 with a downtuned Escudo. The most important thing I overlooked is, Sport tires actually can grid in rain. I went with a Escudo SH...
OK, so...warming-up to Barcelona a bit. Actually, I think it's warming up to the Lambo that's made time for me out there. Not sure why I avoided the car but I actually had to go buy one last week as it was missing from the stable. Now I know why...
Much better!
Still struggling with consistency on the exit of turn 4 (or 5?), the right hander just after the S1 split, I believe I have maybe a tenth more in me, but not much more. And that's if I nail it just right :)
After three days of failing to improve my time at Goodwood (either the chicane or double rights before it that would kill me every lap), I'm happy to see that one end. :boggled:
What I wasn't expecting was to set this time at Tsukuba. Normally...

Untick 'Straighten AIs trajectory when starting' in CM settings/CSP/NEW AI BEHAVIOUR to fix this.
It's ticked by default despite being a new experimental feature that still needs work.

Lake Louise Short: 1:04.765
Colorado Springs: 1:31.592

if you beat me at colorado springs, good for you. the bumps made the experience terrible unlike the other two circuits...
I suppose it depends what you are tuning for, but I think the PP system is a big part of the problem, perhaps you'd get more people sharing tunes if it wasn't so easy to game the PP system for performance.
I know nothing about how to tune a car...

Hi,
@Jeje6410….
I have a set of these at home. Used once. PM me an address and you can have them for free. It will take a couple of weeks though as I am on holiday until late January.
@330_D….
You and me need to have a serious conversation...
:lol:
He will smash my time and probably go into .0xx or .1xx, this is his thing, the slidey ones, I'm more at home in some Gr4, but at least I take the win on day 1 :D
Pretty tricky with the NSX at Tsukuba but not bad. I thought I had a regular one in my garage but only a widebody so rental it was. I'll buy one tomorrow. lol

Why not ? The first game I used triggers and left joystick to turn was GT Sport, I did all the previous with face buttons. So around 23 years of face buttons before switching for good.
But in my opinion it is not the main issue at play here...
Maybe that's part of it. But what I feel is most important every time I watch one of the uploaded videos: being comfortable on and understanding the racing line (using all the width of the track, use braking points and hit apexes) and car control...
