Desborough 2015-10-08

Northamptonshire's lesser known airfields..Desborough. Although originally planned to be a USAAF heavy bomber base it never actually was occupied by the Americans who went on to use Desborough's satellite airfield at Harrington. The site was used as a typical RAF training base for Wellington's and Miles Matinets and later Dc3 Dakotas.


This track is longer then some of my others, however is fast fun and another good example of old airfields being used as racetracks.
