The circuit is built on the "Eifel" map and is full of long straights, fast corners, and heavy braking points for exciting overtaking maneuvers.
Inspired by circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps, Istanbul Park, and Suzuka, natural terrain plays a key part in making the corners and straights have a unique flavor. Several portions of the circuit are heavily influenced by steep hills and this makes for extreme elevation changes.
This circuit is a fantastic circuit for touring cars and is well suited for LMP cars and formula racers.
As the circuit features many fast corners, any setup that lends itself to understeer should be avoided. For the fastest time, have minimal rear downforce and tune the front suspension to be on the softer side.
A good LMP time is around 3:05 and a good GT3 time is around 3:25.
