No, actually the Mcoupe was 1450kg, the M3 1655kg. That gives the breadvan 228bhp/ton and the M3 (actually the figures I found on the www.evo.co.uk website is for the newer M3) is 207bhp/ton. The similar model M3 (E46 i believe) had higher bhp because the Mcoupe had a shorter exhaust system.Ball325Mcoupe = poor track car. they are relatively heavy compared to the M3

I agree, the E30 M3 will be ultimately slower, but more fun! There was an article comparing the two cars around Hockenheim. The Mcoupe was quicker around the corners but not as controllable on the throttle.
I used to own a Mcoupe, pic below. I never got the chance to take it to the Nurburgring, so you can guess what the first thing I bought was, in GT4!
