Changing rim's

I searched in the forum with the keyqord rims and then with wheels and didn't get any answer to a question I have so I hope you have overseeing with my beginner question and help me out.

The question goes as following:
I bought a new set of rims to my BMW and because the limited view at rhe rim shop I didnt get any good picture how they looked like, after racing and seeing them in replay I decided I want the old one's back. But I couldn't find the possibility to change back/between the rims. So now I wonder if the rims are gone with the purchase or where do I find the option so I can change back/between the rims?

ive never had this problem my self as ive never wanted to change my rims back to stock, but, i would of imagind if you want to go to where you buy your rims and click on ''used wheels'' and there might be an option to change back to standard, and if that doesn't work, well just keep looking in the ''used wheels'' section till some BMW wheels become available :)

cya, karl. 👍

i have the pal version and ive never seen any wheel of the day section lol i have the used wheel section along with all the other rim manufactuors ? is it the used wheels section you are on about or am i missing something ??

karl 👍

So there's no other way to switch back to the originals except to buy them from the shop again? That kind of sucks. Plus you have to wait for the right day when the rims are on sale.

Exactly right... sadly. But hey its a bonus - my BMW 120d has the wheels from the RangeStormer concept on, and it looks incredible. I think its a nice touch, adds more variety; otherwise the wheel set would be identical to GT3's (which is exactly like GT2's) , and what would be the point in that?

(this could be a double-post, depending on when my network stalled!!)

Thanks for those hucker696.That should help finding the rims you are looking for. 👍

Unless your wheels are available in the used section, you don't have a way of getting them back.

I do notice one thing though ... if you buy new rims for your sports tyres, your race tyres do not change. If you want the old rims for some PhotoMode stuff, for example, you could buy some tyres of another type as these will appear on the original rims.

just buy some different tyres as trav said
i always keep one set ie racing tyres as stock rims
and you can change the other ones

Is there a Nissan R34 Skyline GTR Rim. Iv'e looked but I can't find one.

The problem is, if you change a rim off a classic or a concept it sort of wrecks the car. Because they're were original and what car was known for.
Anyways I hope there is a R34 Rim

I hate the fact that you cant make the rim sizes 2 inches larger than the stock size. for example for the trueno, i want to fit on 16" or 17" but the rim size is always 14" or watever it is stock.

The only way to change rim size is to change up to race tires. That's an automatic +1 upsize.

Also, there are some rims whose lips extend further. Some rims will look about 1 inch bigger than stock, you've just got to look around.

To get original rims back I would suggest buying/trading the car back from your memory card. This should return the car back to original condition.

Great list, hucker696, thanks.
I miss the ability to keep a huge wheel selection around like you could in GT3.

Certainly I'm not the only one who bought every single wheel so that I could change whatever I wanted on whatever car, whenever. Heh.

I never even thought of that, but iirc that works. I've had to do a few duplicates and the rims always revert to normal. Though that could end up more expensive than just waiting for the wheel to show up in the Used section :scared:

With B spec & or special conditions races with 250,000 credit prize cars, when has money been a worry?
Just run that special condition race again and sell the prize car. Easy. 👍

can anyone confirm this? by changing to race tires, size +1 inch?
