I really think You's ought to see this!

This is so funny but sick at the same time!

The .pdf File i have attached is a news page to read about this!

Also i wrote the link into the address bar but this has been removed from ebay (here is the link)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2192&item=455698574&rd=1

Ok before i get critisized the Ebay pages Was a pdf file and it was too large so i had to use print screen and Paint to chop it - just incase anyone tries to say its a fake it isnt its just my crappy chopping skills !

Anyway - ENJOY 👍

I've got the same problem, and I've almost been here 4 years.

I find it odd how when in a thread, in the little search thing in the thread, I can type my or another members name and the reults will come up empty.

Weird? I think so.

Alot of people around here start threads and Say they had searched and not found anything - then someone jumps in and states;

"try using the search properly 'n00b', " normally if its a new member.

And things like that - but to be honest i always have trouble with it - thats why i hardly start threads! i think that was my second or third and its because of this reason!

Send Duke a PM or something. He's the God of advising people to use the search function. He might know something we don't.

Damn we're such n00bz.

Ha ha, do you know something, with some of the smart ar$e$ on here i feel like one sometimes!!!

i probably will ask him for help its better than starting unwanted threads! 👍

Famine was just helping me on trying to get the file sizes down to upload the images - thats what he meant by i should have told him wat it was ! - dont know what he meant by 'Pearoast' tho.

I have to say that the article/item/hoax/joke is most funny - just a bit aggrivated that I'm blocked from ebay here at work so I never got a chance to see this 'live' so to speak.

As to the Search function, I have found a big difference between it's functionality depending on where you access it from. Oddly, within a thread is the 'weakest' performance of all whereas 'globally' from the site header is the strongest (but then you do have to filter quite assiduously or you get swamped with results :D).

It's a one-word spoonerism. Pea roast = Re post.

I knew I'd seen the thread before, so I searched for "Lotus ebay wife" on the whole site. I got three results - two of them being this thread and the original :D

Thanks for the help anyway Famine!

and @ sukerkin, thanks - i find when i search im always swamped so i use the titles only but some peoples titles mean nothing about the content of their threads and i think thats why i didnt find anything!

Glad to help Barry 👍.

Duke's advice on searching is quite good too i.e. set your preferences to "search entire posts" rather than just titles, search 'child' forums ticked and "show results as posts" selected.

I used to search without the last option and often found it frustrating that I had to dig through an entire thread to find the one post where someone had used the words I was after only to discover that they weren't talking about what I wanted :shriek & pull hair: .

Oh, sorry. This had nothing to do with the original topic.

Ignoring, for a moment, the fact that HSBC are a PLC, not a Limited Company.

And it has no managing director, only CEOs in different countries. It is owned by shareholders (I know its UK CEO, he drives a Jeep Grand Cherokee)

It is most likely fake. She can't be that stupid to sell it for .50

Even if the ebay sale ends, she has no right to sell it.

She should have sold herself instead, pathetic *****.

No, it was. She caught her husband cheating and she got pissed and sold the car.

Funny though, imagine coming home to an empty driveway.

EDIT: What that guy said directly above me. :D
