Would it be possible to get the settings for the Ford SVT F-150 Lightning 2003 and the aids don't matter.

"If you cannot find the settings you are looking for, please PM me your request. Posting it is not necessary. This will conserve bandwidth and space, and will also make updates much easier for me."

No intentions to be mean, but you shouldve PMd Sheron

Wheres Sheron, I sent the settings and he hasnt replied or put them up!!

Thought that I would post my suspension settings for the corrolla as it seems to be very different from what most people run. I like my car to be set up like a rock, I find that it is much easier to maintain the drift that way. This is the setup I use on a corolla regardless of the hp it is at, though most fun fully tuned. naturally aspirated of course;) I like to use a 1 way limited slip as it locks up completely while on the gas but allows for quick turn in while off throttle. I refresh the chasis, but also throw a roll cage in to further stiffen the car.

Spring Rate - 15/15
Ride Height - 80/80
Shock - 10/10
Camber Angle - as stock custom suspension
Toe Angle - as stock custom suspension
Stabilizers - 6/7

Tires vary depending on how much power the car is running, but I find it most fun with a fully tuned out NA engine and sports soft tires on. Most of my drifting is also done on smoother tracks, Apricot hill and Suzuka are my favorite. And most of my drifts are at a lower slip angle and higher speed, think minimal countersteer and rear tires slightly outstepping front. I look forward to trying some other settings that people have posted for this car.

@bigrosten: BE SPECIFIC!!!!! As the rules say, you must tell us the complete car name, and furthermore, spend 5 miutes readind the rules, you missed lot of things on your post.

Little description of handling characteristics:
Use the throttle to adjust angles. My version did not have the clutch or flywheel. The car should drift fine with any of the given toe settings. The greater front toe and the smaller the rear toe... the more countersteer required for a stable drift. Adjust them to fit your style. I came up with these settings using a DS2, and it was tested on Deep Forest.

Little description of handling characteristics:
This car is nuts. It is difficult to modify race cars not to grip yet be stable. Manjis may show understeer at 150+mph. The trick is to be sensitive with the gas and the wheel. I set up the car on Apricot Hill, but it still handles bumps surprisingly well.

keep it mean keep it clean :)

Update courtesy of L2EV thanks dude!

Hello , I am looking for some driftsettings for my blue '90 Supra TT 2.5 R ..

I got it to 634 (something) HP after oil change and all the mods and now it drifts pretty good in standard form (!) on SS tires !!! Only the 'snapback' is a bit wicked but I can probably fix this with some weight transfer ?

Can anyone help me with these settings ? I searched but could only find settings for a supra with stage 1 or 2 turbos ,and also saw in the drift 'bible' that's it's good to have 300-350hp when drifting but i want to try a bit more extreme ..

So , it's got all of the mods and runs 630+-HP on SS tires
the only thing I changed was the brake balance , it's was set to F-8 R-10 ....
thanx !

yeah snapback is pretty evil with that car p.m me your current settings i will help ya out im runnin 550 hp on mine with no trouble.
for now try reducing your tyres to ss at the front and sm at the rear

*edit* weight transfer wouldnt really make any difference

You should PM requests to Sheron.

Niallz, I tried your settings, and I liked them the way they were as long as you don't floor it too much. The car is great when you use adequate throttle control. The car snaps when the tires spin too fast and oversteer. To help your problem, I suggest raising the rear camber to like 1.7. With the higher rear camber the rear tires are flatter during drift, so it takes more power to get the tires to spin too fast and reduces oversteer at the same time. Also, when the car is straight, the rear tires have less grip. This should give the car a controllable snap affect when entering a drift.

Unfortunately, you cannot add a wing to this car because it needs it. The car understeers at high speeds and putting just 2-4 downforce on the front would fix that right up.

I set the Fully Customizable Transmission on auto 9, because 3rd gear is incredibly tall with a stock tranny which will ruin your drifts on upshift. It actually shifts out of the torque band.

You may want to include the carbon driveshaft in your list of parts. It doesn't have a great impact, but it can't hurt.

I think you posted the wrong tire choice though. On S1s, your settings have an amazing amount of grip. The car grabs every part of the road it can to not slide. With a slightly stiffer suspension and lower LSD settings, it would make a great Nurburgring car. Your settings only work on N1s.

Sheron's Universal Drift Settings

Settings:

Spring rate: 5.0/5.0
Ride height: low but not at lowest
Shock bound: 5/5
Shock rebound: 5/4
Camber angle: 3.0/1.0
Toe angle: 0.0/-2.0
Stabilizers: 1/1

LSD Setting: Just buy a 2 way LSD.

Brake ballance: 10/10

TCS: 0
ASM: 0

Little description: If the car needs more oversteer, do the folowing steps: reduce rear rebound 1 or 2. If it isn't enough, then increase front bound 1. Not enough?, decrease rear bound 1 or 2. If you still think there isn't enough oversteer, change spring rates.

Fall_Ryan
Hey, I posted a thread trying to get my settings fixed up but I'm tossing in the towel

I need settings for a 69 Z/28, The 69' SS should be fine too as they both weigh the same, just have different displacements and therefore powerbands. (302 revs 350 torques)

post requests to sheron! p.m him the settings READ THE RULES!!!:ouch:
