What's The Deal With Colors?

What is the deal with colors in Gran Turismo 3. There are way more colors in real life for a car than just a few. Some prize cars you win have different colors that are not avalible at the dealer. Plus, every car in the game that only has one color avalible for sale is always silver. Speaking of silver, silver looks nice on the RUF 3400S and the Dodge Viper GTS. The reflection of trees and signs make the silver 3400S or Viper GTS look nice, too.

OK it simply means that they have read what you have put and not felt that they need/would like to reply.

Its not worth another post to say that and here at GT Planet we do not appreciate double posting in this manner.

You also have to keep in mind that the GT3 boards are going to be quite when compared to the GT4 and TT boards.

You have not been a member for long, but your start has not been particularly great, double posting to bump up posts and resurecting long dead threads for no reason is not a good way to start things off.

I strongly suggest that you have a good look around the boards and think a lot more carefully about your posts and any threads you wish to start. You will find that you get a lot more replies if the post in question is well thought out, well writen and has a point worth making.

Please think about it.

Thanks, Scaff

No problem, thats what teh mods are here for.

I know what its like, remember all of us were new members once, and the desire to just empty your mind of questions, is at first hard to resist. However its always better to take your time and be sure of what you are asking and why.

I hope that you enjoy GT Planet and promise you that you will find a lot to read and think about.

You know Scaff, you may be the first nicest member that I have ever met on GTPlanet. All of the other members don't care about me. So, Thank You.

I got flamed and ignored on my 2nd or 3rd post here at GT Planet

Yet I stuck around. Notice in my post that I had a legitimate question, and spoke eloquently enough, but that wasn't good enough for Darin, who originally flamed me good only because I was new (seems he edited his flame at some point).

This is a fun place but some folks are adamant about using the search before posting new topics, even though GT3 is pretty much dead nowadays.

Some words of advice: no cell-fonese speak until people know you better. Don't be juvenille. You seem nice enough, just keep it cool.

To answer your original question: Polyphony Digital doesn't have time to go into custom-detail colors one can buy at the dealership in real-life, yet some cars definitely get a raw-deal. The Trueno/Corolla series was delivered in a lot more colors than just white and red for instance--but money rules the world. PD makes lots of mistakes and leaves lots of things out from game to game in order to make deadlines with Sony and the rest of the world.

And notice which one of you is still here... and which one has been banned for at least a year.
