My New Mountain Bike

Wow the awd bike has a weight issue.2.3 pound just to make the front wheel drive, alot of the time the front tire is in the air on technical trails.

I own a Specialized P.1 Cromo. Pike 426 Coil U Turn, cane creek tank jump headset, Kenda K Rads, Avid Juicy 5 Brakes with 7" rotors. Profile Racing 170mm cranks. Interlock Shadow Conspiracy chain. Kona Jack**** pedals.

I like my bike. Cost around $2,000

For £2000, I'd look into full suspension. If you wanna do dirtjumping, I'd say Kona Howler, Morewood Ndiza ST, or an Enduro SX.

If I had that kind of money, I'd get a Specialized SX Trail. If you wait, you can get a SX Trail frame in the NC Blue that Darren Berrecloth rides. It's sweeet.

You need to elaborate on what kind of riding you will be doing on this bike. If you are just going to be riding XC trails, pick up a nice hardtail. Save the money for parts if you break them, or to go and ride new places.

I guess if I had that much i would try to find a Honda NS, which it is a 50cc two stroke, i think it might have a 6 speed, sport bike. the one in the pic is a 125f instead of a plain NS and missing one panel that streches from the gas tank to the little bottom piece.

Or

I would build/ restore a bike

Ooh, I'm glad this thread came up again.

Maybe because this is yet another thread in which you've posted about them...

You ignored, or didn't see, the first 3 requests I made for you to stop talking about them until you could back it up - in each case continuing to post in the same thread. I figured with enough reminders you'd pick up on at least one of them sooner or later.

So, we now have a moratorium on discussion of these vehicles until your uncle gets back next week.

That was August 4th. Today is August 22nd. Next week has passed, rolled into the week after and has morphed into the following week now.

So this is the position. Your choices are:

1. Provide photographic proof of your ownership of the vehicles you've claimed to own.
2. Admit you lied.
3. Do nothing - and I ban you and all of your since-registered pseudonyms, and put a ban-on-sight order if you try to register again.

At least two previous members have plumped for option 2, and are still here in an active role.

Your move, ALPINE.

check my IP, unless alpine for some strange reason has 2 computers, it will show I'm NOT alpine

if you can't get my IP, Look here. I think you'll find it's a mac, not a PC. this is Alpine's desktop, clearly NOT a mac

this should solve your "alpine, do you or do you not own those 2 cars" problem

Well of course I can get your IP and, while the jury's out on this particular method (it's easier to prove that one person has two accounts than it is to prove that two accounts belong to one person), I'll take the chance of believing you.

However... With the post you've linked to above, you're coming dangerously close to breaking a site rule about not revealing personal information about someone without their consent. Please desist from this.

thats where I got my nic from

So you was browsing the forums, saw Alpines E mail address and thought you would use NOS as your nickname when you sign up.

You can have my "mountain bike".

I cycled to work in it a couple of weeks ago and I left it there because of the rainy weather. I've been walking or taxiing since.

I paid €80 for it a year ago. If you can saw the lock off and get rid of the rusty crust, and inflate the tyres, it's yours for €20.

I think it'll be easier to just deny it's existence because my company is moving premises soon anyway. The new company can "worry" about it.

KM.

what model is it? anyway. I was kind of looking for new or almost new bikes.

thanks for the offer though

I think I might make a poll to choose my bike out of the bikes suggested!

thanks for the suggestions guys!!:D:D!!
