damn hey sorry for not replying , ive been testing every car i can get hold off in my spare time, no wrx and evo can keep up, we are racing tommorow night,and a skyline is my best bet , im gonna read all the previous posts now and see whats up.

he uses racing mediums, runs high 1'07s and low 1'08s , i dont remember the excat numbers tho, but im pretty confedent ill win this now after running a few other cars, ill try get an excat time off him soon.

Oh, forgot one! Major killer: The Shelby Series one. The thing is glued to the road, even on the Racing Mediums your bro uses. Just give it like an NA2, some of the tranny parts, and a decklid spoiler. (I think it came out to 490+ hp, but my PS2's been dead for weeks and I cannot check).

thanks for the ideas, and he doesnt use a wing, i checked hes memory card and the typhoon he uses has auto set 23 for the gear ratios..abit high aint it? and i used hes typhoon around midfield, i must say hes goten the settings spot on,real easy to get around,u can really push the car hard without it feeling unstable,altho i only got a 1'08.850 on the second fly lap,i did a low 1'10.XX first time around, im checkin out the Shelby now to see what it can do.

I sat down last night and gave beating Gil's rough estimate of 1:08 a go. I think many of us are overdoing it with the BHP.
A thouroughly used example of a Lotus Esprit (6200 miles), tuned to 507 BHP with R5's, a wing and stock gearing, and best parts of everything else gave a 1:05.6 lap at Midfield after a 5 lap run.
Even better? A fully done up DeLorean (!) with 448 BHP, a wing and stock gear ratios was able to run a 1:06.9 lap after a 5 lap run.
A less-good Buick GNX run came later, netting a 1:07.9 run over 10 laps. Stats for all car setups (and perhaps replays) to come later in the day, perhaps.
A question: Are you racing your brother in time trials, or in 2 player mode, as it has a serious effect on what tires can be used.

well your hero mark skaife was blocking lowndes trying to slow him down and got a warning, but it didnt work, prick kelly aka krusty burger worker still finished behind lowndes,only 3 points in it now pluss

I've been doing a lot of driving with the Cerbera Speed 12 lately so I decided to give this my best shot with a few different settings to see what it could do here.
First I tried with 100% Stock car with R3s and got a best time of 1'04.6xx (forgot to save the replay), still had about 4 tenths in it, but I was very impressed by this time as this is faster than a 100% Stock JGTC WOODONE Supra is on the same tyres Check This Thread!
Next I tried 100% Stock on R5s, got a 1'01.875 (Replay Available) and finally 100% Stock on R5s with a Spoiler, this I am happy to say allowed me to break the 1'00 barrier to get a time of 0'59.970 (Replay Available).

ok here we go, we raced just 10minutes ago, he was about to go out and this was the only time we could race

Now onto the fly lap i kept it ok and learnt from my warm up lap to use controled throttle and braking into and exiting turn 1,came out nicely,but i havent been in this car long enough to be conftable with it plus with the tuned stock sets,i was thinking disaster?,plus with my anoying bro trying to make me crash,i was extra carefull

he wants a rematch now and is reworking the typhoon sets,and im making this SRT10 handle good, as i read the other posts, 1'07 is considerd slow for this car so there still lots of work to do.
