Very nice presents, and the TV was totally unexpected.
Thats going to be a bit of an issue though, because our dorm rooms are supposed to have cable jacks, but mine (for some reason) is the only one that doesnt, so Im going to have to hassle somebody to get it fixed/installed. I already know thats going to be a pain.

An incredibly thoughtful friend got me a mini ocarina and The Hobbit as i'd vaguely mentioned wanting an ocarina and that i'd never had the opportunity to read The Hobbit! I love thoughtful pressies (and my friend)
I also got a Honda Accord Type-R mug from my best girlie mate (she knows it's the car I want eventually! We managed to surprise each other with the presents we got one another), a microwave/grill, lots of chocolate, a watch (which i'll never wear), a flashing pen, 2 sets of 'jamas, a hat which covers my ears, smellies, and a few other bits and bobs.

First off... I really don't need the space. I want to listen to music and look at photo's, I don't need a video player in my pocket or hand when I'm working out.
Second... Sure, you might need it or at least want it, that's your opinion, so don't call other people morons with your opinion.
Third... I have an external enclosure with a 120GB hard drive in there. I believe no iPods have over 81GB's of space to begin with. So I can use that as a storage device also, I don't need an iPod to store all my personal data.

As for my pressies, I got some PJs, a pair of shorts and some thongs(not the underwear variety either
) from the kids(and I'm sure Jack had no idea about any of them) and I bought myself a new dress and some shoes.That's not his point. Analogy:
Would you rather have a snack bag of Doritos for 99¢ or a full bag of Doritos for 99¢? Or...
Would you rather have a 20GB PS3 for $600 or a 60GB PS3 for $600? Sure you may not use the Wi-Fi and card readers, but why deliberately miss out on those features when it's the same price?

Can't you just download iTunes? I recently updated some other program(can't remember which ) and iTunes came with it as well, all for free.Owned, Wendy, you friggin' rule. 👍
