a gallery into an empty space [speed thrills - 2.19.08]

LGforce - thanx 👍

Alexwrc - thanks 👍 ive never been very good at photo travel, just photo drive so i thought id try some things. specially after the "35mm or smaller" in one of the recent apmc's.

.Octane. - thanks 👍

GT4R - thanks 👍

heres prt 2 :)

the large one is my personal favorite of this batch :)

Wow very bright and nice, anyway it may be the 24th over there, but its Christmas Day over here in the UK empty space.

Hehe, nice again. I'm still loving the first Z of your previous batch. You've played with the camera location and setting, and as I said a lot of times, the phototravel needs a ton of creativity to avoid the tipycal photo wich everyone could take.

alex - 👍 i usually dont do much photo travel because it seems to work against me. i like that location because you can work with the steps and the shrine, but, you still need to manuplate the camera by putting the camera one place to manuplate the car then move the camera somewhere else to take the picture. the location with all the metal bars i like the least. it looks so promising, but, you can barelly manuplate the camera because in one spot you cant turn around.

gt4r - thanks 👍

I love these latest Z updates. Great colour and awesome angles. Angles is where it is at, the angle of a image can make or break a it. You got some great ones. Keep it up. 👍👍

thanks guys 👍

any suggestions? im not sure what to try next. im tempted to go back through some previous images and re-edit them.

i believe this is the only m3 gtr road picture ive posted:

i entered it in one of the comps and was really disappointed it didnt make it into the poll as i feel its still one of my best pictures ever. i think ill take her to el cap sometime this week.

a couple of randoms:

ive more than a few phototravel experiments that look similiar so im not sure which ill post. ill be getting to the m3 gtr over the weekend :)

Yea, I agree that M3 shot is a very nice shot man. I also like the First Z shot at Shiyuba. Well done, bring some more photos soon :D.

Everyone forgets this so don't be angry :D. Always check the reflection!! Look at that, looks like a car made up of post-it notes. Nice idea for the photo though.

Wow, the elise is amazing! The acid look and angle is impressive. I always forget to resize the rim's reflection over the tarmac btw haha.

I also specially like the lighting rays, quite spectacular 👍

Your photomode competition entry looks great too. 👍

gt4r - thanks 👍

.*StReeTz*. M3 GTR

over all, i was trying to get a vareity of pictures but some still game out a bit still frame-ish :indiff: im sure the editing style wont be everyones tastes and it certainly needs refinement, but, thatll come naturally and ive a few ideas on how to make it better. hope you like it .*StReeTz*. :)

that's some god work dude. i must say you could have done with a bit less diffuse glow. but overall the shots are pretty good. the last one is a lot like the E90 update that i did months ago. looking good. i have to say i still love the elise update more, but i know we'll see a lot more from you. keep it up!

thanx 👍 actually its a mixture of gaussion blur and softglow with layer blending and tweaked contrast to bring some sharpness back. i probably shouldnt do both the blur and the glow on the same layer though.

gimp may not be as good as photoshop, but, its still capable ... i just need someone to explain how to use burn/dodge and not get the anouying over lap when opacity isnt set at 100% or do they use 100% and adjust an above layer?
