ceiling_fan's pictures -- ZONKERS!!!!!

Very cool Mugen shot, my favourite S2000 to drift. Got some great smoke too, did you use the fast forward trick?

Also like how you have a blue and yellow theme going on with the colour/tone of the shot and the tires in the background. Great work. đź‘Ť
 
I very rarely venture into the photomode section of GTP, since I only ever use photos to illustrate my race reports. However, knowing ceiling_fan's artistic talents from other areas of GTP, I had to come and have a gander at his shots here. (Yeah, it's only taken me ages and ages to come and find it! :guilty:)

All I can say is..... Damn! They're good! :drool:

funny. way to get attention here :lol: i'm almost set for a come back update. i figure i'd do gt4 updates again since i'm not gonna be so busy playing ps3 for a while. not really any worthy racing games worthy of getting lately. now where's the mugen s2k? get it done! :D

Yeah, I used the L3 trick. It was actually one of my best drifts (I don't really drift though.) And regarding the tire barrier in the background, I had to saturate it a bit more to make it stand out more. đź‘Ť

i see. that's interesting coz the first time i saw the thread before, it said it was on page six. then all i saw was the photo of a crappy loooking yellow s2k.

Haha, the Midget?! That was one of the first 6 pictures here! :lol: I think TW was the first to point it out. :D I'll be working on the Elise shot, it's definitely too blurry the way it is right now.

Damn, that shot of the Woodone Supra looks stunning. It's a bit on the soft side, but still looks great.
Smoke is very well caught too, and great feeling on the image overall. :cheers:
 
Thanks, I didn't expect many comments on that shot because it doesn't really "grab" you, due to the low contrast and saturation. I was really pleased with how the edges of the car turned out as well.

I've completely redone my BMW Z4 At Monaco II, I shall call it BMW Z4 At Monaco II-2. :dopey:

Your two new shots are sweet c_f, the colour in the drift shot is really nice. The car colour matches the sky, and you did a good job of capturing the sun. It can sometimes turn out rather bad. Also nice work on the Typhoon shot, I love the drift shot.

Thanks TW. I was really surprised just how blue that thing is! :lol: The drift isn't very noticeable (besides the angle) but I liked how the countersteer makes it interesting. I'm kinda "meh" on the Typhoon shot, it's okay, but nothing special. I might clean it up a bit (the version you see here is PMC rules, hence no cleaning.)

My brother told me to ay that your pictures are wierd every once in a while. When ever I say that, I mean they're good. Sorry, my computer wonked out on me.
 
That Saleen is crazy, very cool and unique. I think I may try and achieve that look here soon, just to say I can. Thats how cool that shot is.

that saleen is very unique. would make for a nice cartoon movie or something, or a really old box for a toy car. but i like the crispness of the focus. very nice work.
 
I really don't like triple-posting in my gallery, but... can anybody give me some feedback on my shots? I was hoping for some kind of feedback, especially on the Mazda shot. Any suggestions on composition and editing would be greatly appreciated. In return, I'll do a request. :mischievous:
 
I can, the 6 looks good. I was guessing you used an artistic filter, but now I think it's all blur. The smooth surfaces of the car and bright lines make it quite realistic. I can't say the same of the depth of field :D. The racing cars vs street cars of the same brand are always lovely, probably I wouldn't have used the Jaguar at the same time.

So my request is another photo with this theme.
