I notice that it is on dealer plates, is it from the local Nissan dealer or do you think it is it a direct import?

Hopefully it can run on your petrol up there! :D

I highly doubt it is from our dealer. Our local Nissan dealer is on the same lot (same guy) as our Holden, Suzuki and Mazda dealer...

I'd be more inclined to say that it's from down your way or up in Auckland. I know Revheadnz posted a pic of one in a showroom in Auckland - don't know if this is the same one though.

So I was leaving the office today and I caught something from the corner of my eye. I thought it might be a Challenger but I only caught a brief glimpse of it, so I cut down the next side street and went into the parking lot looking. Sure enough it was!!! I had heard rumours that there was one floating around Rochester Hills so I knew there was a chance I would see it sooner or later. I think the best thing about this photo is not that the car is pre-production, but the fact that it is dirty.

Also not as exciting was this G55 AMG, these are quite rare...probably due to their 9mpg fuel consumption.

Oh man! Isn't that the 2nd in this thread? Black looks joygasmic on those!
That first pic is captures an awesome angle of that car!

Yup second one, this is the great thing about Michigan, we always see crap like this. I just wish the car would have been clean.

I saw this pimped out Boxster and this sexy CLS63 AMG last night when we went to PF Chang's for dinner. I can do without the "Porsche GT" decals but my god the rest of it looks sweet.

*edit*
There was also a red Quattroporte', but I couldn't be bothered.

That's good spot.

The Dodge emblem on the front of the Challenger looks tacky and needs to be removed. I can understand Dodge wanting them to associate the vehicle with their brand, but I would think most people would know Challenger=Dodge.

Agreed, I think the rear tail lamps look like hell as well.

stock STI with a sticker on it?

or...a Cosworth STI

apparently the specs are:

415bhp @ 6,500rpm (400bhp from 5,800rpm − 7,000rpm)
570Nm / 420lbft @ 3,800rpm (300lbft from 3,000rpm)
8,000rpm Redline
304bhp/ton
0−60mph in 3.7sec
0−100mph in 8.7sec

never knew they existed.

OMG! The spot of my life so far!

The guy was super nice. We waved and he stopped at the intersection longer than he needed so I get a few shots off. 👍

So stoked with seeing it twice - I was shaking.

Turns out my brother knows a guy who knows a guy who knows the owner. I'll investigate further. :sly:

Who else in this thread has posted one? Rue, myself, and?...

Awesome spot Chris 👍, I have yet to see one on the road.

But there are at least 2, possibly 3 black GTRs in Auckland now, the dealer I work at has one and a used car dealer in the city has one (seen it in the flesh too).

Also, it that a Litchfield Type 25 you posted HoldenHSVGTR?

not particularly exciting this next one, but its the first of these ive seen and i thought the back end looked god damn wierd!

Ford Focus Hardtop Vert:

Also found this old Humber Hawk hidden away behind a fenced in corner:

Edit: from that pic serge it looks to be a Ferrari 456

So many awesome spots these days.

Ill continue the trend. The V8 Supercars, F1, and the Aussie sport car things are on in the city so today I saw many cars, including some political figure.

Silver Pontiac G8. Saw 2 of these today, the same white one I saw a few days ago and this silver one.

Holden Caprice and M3. The Caprice was escorted by 2 police bikes. The car had some Victoria plates and I think had some political guy inside. They went to the GP.

Ferrari 355. Saw 3 of these today, 2 red and this one yellow.

Bentley Continental GT. Saw 2 of these today.

And something weird, a WPS Safety car.

I also saw but couldn't get pics, 3 E60 M5's, 1 E39 M5, Skyline R34 GTR, Audi RS4, E55 AMG, SL500, Golf R32, Audi S3. And I think I saw a Ferrari 599. I saw a taillight which looked so similar but it could've been a Commodore.

I went on a ski trip today to Stowe, Vermont and I have never seen so many Subaru Imprezas and Mercedes G-classes outside of a dealership. Absolutely insane, everyone up there has 4WD (oh and the boarding was awesome too!)

Hey Turbo Lag, not every day you see the WPS Safety Car running the streets. Being close to Queensland Raceway I seen it once during the V8 Supercars weekend.

Well I'm actually not sure whether or not it was a genuine safety car, I remember them having lights on the top and this one didn't. But since the V8's are on ATM, it probably was. The pic was taken right outside my house.

Mmm, I enlarged the picture and it actually looks like a PT Cruiser- was it? If so that would be a replica/wanna be. Unless it's a staff car for the V8 boys.

A very new (well, the plate is spankers) Porsche Targa. You can't see the model in my hideous shot, but it's a shot none-the-less.

That plate on it would have been registered in the last two weeks I'd imagine. :indiff:

It may be s/hand and the original owner sold it minus his personalised plate, so this owner had to get a new plate for it.
