did you modify the LSD settings on the Impreza Wagon?? because as far as I can remember, i did not give you those values..,

I played with them a bit. but I believe you did not for sure. I'm playing with the trans settings and lsd and I type this. I couldn't find a better setting for the trans, but am working on them. If you want I can remove any of your trans settings?

Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 by any chance? That's a cool wagon, I'd drive it. Too bad about its power drop-off at high RPM.

I have one sitting in the garage right now! Yes I have a couple I'm playing with. Stay tuned

I happen to be playing with this car myself. It goes well when the competition isn't so stiff but it's a struggle in the Japan Championship. You still working on this pretty wagon?

If you want you can put the tune in here if you want? I need a partner?👍

i see.., no no, that's okay, as long as you gave credit to the one whom helped you and did not take the work as your own.., :)

yes, i was pertaining to myself in my last post.., :)

Alright I'm Game.

In real life, I own a Mitsubishi Diamante Wagon. The Legnum was a natural choice as they look somewhat similar.

Mitsubishi Legnum VR4:

Parts to buy:

Racing Exaust
Racing chip
Stage 2 Turbo (443 HP) I'll look again, That sounds like too much

Brake Controller
Suspension Full Customize
Transmission Full Customize
Triple Plate Clutch
Racing Flywheel
Carbon Driveshaft
LSD Full Customize
Weight Reduction Stage 3
VCD Controller

Settings:
Tires: S3 front / S3 Rear
Spring rate: 9.5 / 10.5
Ride height: 108 / 112
Shock bound: 4 / 7
Shock rebound: 6 / 8
Camber angle: 2.3 / 0.6
Toe angle: 0 / 0
Stabilizers: 3 / 5

LSD:
Initial Torque: 10 / 15
LSD Accel: 20 / 25
LSD Decel: 10 / 6

VCD: 25

Downforce: Sorry, can't carry my canoe with a wing on there.

ASM: 0/0

TCS: 2 (I ain't proud, this beast needs it

Transmission: auto 8 (8 for Tsukuba, 12 for Tokyo 246)

I liked the handling better before I added the LSDs. I either need to change it back to stock or figure out better settings. I consistently turned 1:02s at Tsukuba on these settings with S2 tires but I think there's still room for improvement.

By the way, I'm using a crude cockpit with a Madcatz MC2 as my control device.

Nice I will test it out. If you want to tune more car's the door is open

I need to make me a cockpit. I use a wheel too.

You know how to edit your posts, why do you still proceed to double post?

It's completely unnecessary.

well yes but that last one I did was a mistake, and tried to delete it and was unable to.

Double posts you've made in this thread alone: 5-6, 23-24, 29-30, 36-38 (TRIPLE post), 42-44 (TRIPLE again), 46-47, 60-61, 63-64, 66-69 (QUAD post), 81-82.

WOW that's great you took the time to count my mess ups 👍. I'm glad somebody did. hey you want to go count other posts to see if I double posted in other threads too?

The sarcasm makes for great gravy, thanks.

Do I really need to go further with this at all though? I know that the mods don't like double-posting... Hell, drifting24/7 has a warning for it...

I'd recommend not tossing my advice out the window and effectively saying that you don't give a rat's arse.

No I'm done. I left at that. I will try hard not to:tup: It is the lack of sleep that brings the sarcasm out in me

lol I think he did. It's ok though I'm working not doing it.

Looks that way. Takes some weight off of me. I have a lot of people wanting to spot race me. I'm also thinking of changing the name to something more better than shoman.
hey arre you going to be on gt5 too? looks like we will behind?

me going on to GT5?? Heh, that will be a long, long, long way. My dad just bought our PS2 last Christmas and it's pretttty obvious he's not planning on buying a PS3 right now.., so yeah, i'm stuck with GT4..,

I hear that. Maybe my will let me get it as it comes out.

Mitshubishi Legnum VR-4 is a great car to drive. busted it around a small track. same times, the fast time was 1'01.641. The more I drove the car it was a blast. You hit the nail on the head with this one!

I'm a little more critical of myself with this one. I have been messing with the LSDs. I tried reverting back to the stock diffs and I didn't like it at all. I then tried:

LSD Decel: 6 / 10 (reversed from previous) I'm not sure, I think it's better.

I also put R2s on it to check out the Tuning Car Championship. I'm not sure if it's up to that much challenge but it would be a good mid-fielder. Stage 2 Turbo was fine for Tsukuba. I tried the Stage 3 and gained nothing.

After that I did a photo shoot and was able to post a 0:59.7 and a couple of other high 59s.

I'd like to get it set up so that it oversteers slightly when you back out of the throttle in a corner.

I need a new real car long before I need a PS3 and GT5.

SHOgun Performance? Do you recall Ford's crazy little "SHOgun" concept where they shoved the Yamaha/SHO V6 into a Festiva?

I noticed the oversteer. controlable though. I will retest it with the trans I didn't see.

I want to build a shogun. I have a 94 sho. I will change it right now

Posting a large post like a complete car setup, one-after-the-other in multiple posts is deemed acceptable as a multi-post, since it may help the thread creator make an index post later on, such as Greycap has done in the MFT thread.

However, posting 1 line, or 1 word replies less than 24hrs after a previous post by yourself, isn't acceptable and you should use the edit button to add info to your previous post. 👍

If you can edit something to say "accidental double post" in the first place, you can edit it again with the new information (especially if it's a new car setup) you want to post, and hence the double post doesn't then become a triple post!
