ok thanks - ill try to fix them.
I think I've fixed the tunes that are ready. There's only the T&L 111R tuned elise ready for Daytona. And Blitz tunes for the 547pp are not ready.

Just a quick question. Right the cars we are using for this event are, Lotus Evora and Lotus 111R, and not the LLotus 111R tuned version. Correct me if im wrong. 👍

I believe it's 111R or Evora at Fuji and the 111R Tuned at Daytona

Well i'll add my 111R Tuned for the Daytona, a good second off your own tune but it may appeal to someone or maybe i will be the only one in it, not very good at this tuning thing, but here goes

Power +26
Weight 115
Aero 14/33
Height -15/-15
Springs 3/7
Damper 2/9
Toe -0.04/-0.07
Camber 1.0/1.2
Brakes 6/5
Angle 42
ABS 1
1st 2.689
2nd 1.822
3rd 1.412
4th 1.177
5th 0.986
6th 0.855
final 4.107

Changed it ever so slightly, seemed ok in free run but in a race, different story, mind you besides being clipped/bumped and shunted was hard to get a clear lap in, when i did it managed a 1:50:8.

Yes man - you got it. The switch between the tracks is great. Going from N3 to the fast Daytona track is really fun.

I thought we was using the tuned 111R GT at Daytona and not the bog standard 111R

Fuji

Lotus Evora 547pp
Lotus Elise 111R standard 547pp

Daytona

Lotus Elise 111R tuned by GT 650pp

Remember to get a car in you team colour if you can afford it.

Thanks, you had me worried then. Thought i was going to be in the wrong car.
Them little 111R's are nippy

I'd been on Daytona with the tuned Lotus came into the Fuji to try the Evora in a race, not done that yet and forgot where the braking points where, not that it matters, only managed a free air run of 1:57:663 and still not quick enough to catch the little 111R's

Can we move all the Division and start time details to the first post?

Looks like NTSC times are posted and we will be running from 10:05 PM EST to 12:50 AM EST. Now I gotta go buy a Gold version (I assume yellow will suffice) of the cars.

GTP_Wanna_B Lotus Evora, managed a 1:57:1xx in free run, not the fastest and not as quick as some of those 111R's, but may be ok for someone.

Power +40
Weight 85%
Height -28/-30
Springs 3/7
Damper 2/9
Toe -0.03/+0.17
Camber 0.9/1.3
Brakes 6/5
Angle 42
TC 1(helps with power on exits of turn 1,2,4)
ABS 1
1st 2.888
2nd 1.773(sacrificed exit speed on hairpin for better speed/traction on most other corners)
3rd 1.276
4th 0.905
5th 0.818
6th 0.698
Final Fixed

I'll be using the following tunes tomorrow if anyone is desperate enough to want to try them. Not sure how they compare to some of the others in terms of lap times but hopefully they'll keep me from the wrecker for the most part.

I spent more time on the tuned 111R for Daytona and after a handful of races I had times of 9:27, 9:29, 9:29, 9:31 and 9:35. Can't seem to get the gears right at all though, there's either not enough grunt in top when out in the open or you're revving it out in the slipstream. Think I'll be messing about with it all night tomorrow.

111R tuned 650pp

Power: +22
Weight: 110%
Aero: 10/20
RH: -12/-12
SR: 7/7
Damp: 9/9
Toe: -0.18/+0.20
Camber: 2.4/1.6
BB: 4/5
TA: 37

1st: 2.689
2nd: 1.867
3rd: 1.428
4th: 1.132
5th: 0.909
6th: 0.727
Final: 4.786

I only had a handful of free run laps and one race with the Fuji tune and my best lap was a 1:56.8xx but it was quite easy to drive.

111R 547pp

Power: +52
Weight: 95%
RH: -35/-30
SR: 2/7
Damp: 2/7
Toe: -0.28/+0.40
Camber: 1.5/2.2
BB: 4/5
TA: 40

1st: 2.689
2nd: 1.844
3rd: 1.465
4th: 1.204
5th: 1.009
6th: 0.855
Final: 4.587

there is a link to it in the first post. race groups and race times.

THIS RACE IS TONIGHT!! HERE'S THE VITAL REBELLION INTELLIGENCE CONFIRMATION:

Remember, you are not alone!! You fight alongside all rebels but your priority is to your squadron! If you can afford it, buy the Lotus you are racing in the colour of your squadron. (Gold squadron buy yellow). This way, you can race with your wingmen and you will recognise them by their car colour. No point slowing down your wingmen as they will be scoring points with you for your squadron.

"Which squadron am I in??"

Star Wars: A new hope * Fighter squadrons - NEW

"What time am I racing??"

Star Wars: A new hope * Race groups and race times - NEW

Remember, we are doing 6 races at Fuji and 6 races at Daytona. Join when you can, stay as long as you can. Any points you gather will be of great benefit to your squadron and the Rebel Alliance as a whole.

Here's to a great night of racing guys, we've spent hours on Skype talking to each other and have done our absolute best to organise this in a way that provides some structure, some interesting and different flavour to normal race events, and an element of team racing instead of just a head-to-head race-off or time trials. If issues do arise throughout the night, the T&L team will be on Skype so we can communicate with all the Squadron leaders in order to solve issues. Please have patience and understanding, we're learning more and more about how best to run these events as we do them. From the people we have come across testing these cars throughout the week, the racing should be intense and very very close!! It would be fantastic to see people racing in their Squadron colours and driving as team members 👍

All the best

It's going to be awesome race-night... I'm sure about that!

I'm gonna go immediately to buy Red Lotus Fighter, and tune it for perfect. Thanks for every tuner about set-ups. I still havent decide which I'm gonna use. Every of them have own goodies.

Got two brand spanking new Green Lotuses.... Ready to race 👍 May the Schwarz I mean, Force be with us! :)

BLUE SQUADRON WOOOOO!!!!!! :D

I'm actually using the very light metallic blue for the 111R/Tuned, but the Evora blue will be deep.

All the best
Maz <--- Blue Leader

JvM, Synwraith, Wayne and Jack on the blue squadron??? This is gonna be a long night.... :scared:

2 Blue lotus in my garage still needing some fine tune.

I know, I know theres plenty of tune around but doing my own "French" Blue Cheese Sauce :sly:

Having trouble, to even keep the car on track, on N3's. :ouch:

SO GLAD to hear that I am not alone - I'm doing ok at Fuji but struggling with the 111R/Tuned at Daytona - how in the world does the alliance plan to win this war if they don't train their pilots properly??? :sly:

I went with Tzayad's tune of the Evora at Fuji. I never got to his blistering lap time but did break into the 1'58s - only advice I can give is to take it slow and get the lines right, only punch the gas when the car is pointing straight ahead, and take the last turns wide.

My comment last night was that I could eat a sandwich while driving this one because it is SO SLOW!!!! Don't try to push the car like its 750PP and I think you'll do fine.
