Thanks LdS. :)

The car should be in Nissan dealer, fun car though slow for it's class. I actually decided to use this one (Drift Comp was for any Silvia) because I was reading one of Smallhorses' race reports and I noticed how remarkably well textured the car was in the accompanying pictures. Remember the Drift Comp doesn't allow car cleaning or Levels/Curves so I was happy with how it turned out.

Thanks again for your comment. 👍

Yeahh!! Great style shot of the 3000GT!! Rally? Now thats crazy!! Thanks mate!!
About the other shots, U did well too...specially on that drift one...real great capture!!!

Good work mate!!!

That last shot of the C-West Razo Silvia is phenomenal!
I've got a real soft spot for that car now, since it got me 200 A-spec points at Nurburgring 24hrs, and I'm happy that my report has made someone else go out and use that car for something. 👍
I was impressed by how well it photographed too, although my pictures always leave a little to be desired when compared to a true artistic genius like ceiling_fan! :guilty:

Thanks Nick :embarrassed: There aren't many low-powered race cars in GT4 to race it against, meaning most people never drive it (unless they're 200-point nutters like you!!)

Thank you S-Line Audi Fan. 👍 I intentionally 'overedited' them for a more 'striking' effect. I had been going for more subtle colors and contrast and I wanted to do something different. Or at all actually. ;) My computer is back from the dead and I had about 10 unfinished images that weren't backed up (strange because I've about 9000 backups of everything) and these are just the first two. The 350GT was an 'outtake' from my 'Beast in the Dark' request by Beerz, and the Speed Six is a ridiculously overedited version of one of my earliest shots. (probably one of the first 20 I'd ever taken.) I didn't actually do any cleanup on the car, mainly due to laziness. I actually like the border on the first one, sort of made an 'inverted vignetting' look. The second one I spent much more time on, but I'm not sure if I like it yet. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my pics, due to my life situation I had lost all interest in graphic design and photo-editing (also guitar-playing but that's not related :dopey:) :(

I'll have some more in a few days but these'll have to do for now.

Regards, c_f.

Nice to see you back man! That Speed Six shot is crazy good. Love every bit of it. Kinda looks like a drawing. You better keep this up and stick around for awhile. I have always loved seeing your work.

I like the first shot. Very mystic and I like the rain, looks realistic.
The 2nd is good, but a little bit over sharpen.

Glad to have you back over here 👍

yep, the Speed six shot is quite something!! Lovely effect you have there:tup:

You also did a cool work on the other one, the car sticks well in there 👍

NTX:)

Thanks, I hadn't been here much either.

Thanks Swiss.

Cool experiments. It's nice to get back with new things to the community.

Thanks Alex.

Yeah, I'd never done rain before, I don't know how to make it look like it's landing on the ground though :dunce: I think it turned out more as a texture. Yeah there were a couple parts of the car that could've been smoothed out but meh. :)

Thanks, I rarely see B&W pics at Nanzenji Temple ;)

Dome Zero

I kind of screwed up the front left wheel area, and the car doesn't look connected to the track. I still like it though :dopey:

Sorry mate, but the car does not stay "well" in there. The background job is well made, thats for sure, but the car...

Don´t let yourself down C_F, I´m sure you can make the next update a great looking one 👍

You made the same mistake I’ve made some time ago, blurring the car shadow. You could have drowned a new shadow (by burning) or put the shadow to a new layer and blurring the road without the shadow. Because it looks like it is floating. Other than that, I think it is very good.
