ceiling_fan's pictures -- ZONKERS!!!!!

Sorry mate, but the car does not stay "well" in there. The background job is well made, thats for sure, but the car...

Don´t let yourself down C_F, I´m sure you can make the next update a great looking one 👍

Thanks for commenting, I usually don't do these kind of angled speed blurs, should probably look at a tutorial for it. I found this picture while looking for cars inside a tunnel (for PMC 160) but the way the picture was taken in game didn't work well with PMC rules (high shutter speed, high aperture.) I was pleased with the background too, especially in regards to the light coming in the tunnel.

You made the same mistake I’ve made some time ago, blurring the car shadow. You could have drowned a new shadow (by burning) or put the shadow to a new layer and blurring the road without the shadow. Because it looks like it is floating. Other than that, I think it is very good.

Yeah that must've been what I did wrong, I definitely felt the car wasn't connected to the ground (and like mentioned above, I don't often do these kind of shots.) My Viper at Grand Valley Speedway (CCCL 2.0 winner) had this same problem but the blur was more subtle. Thanks for commenting.

It's got a nice bluey tint to it...

Which is a significant amount of color compared to the last two pics

I like the look of the last upate, too :).. Well done, ceiling_fan.. Can't await the next update from you, because your work is always excellent ;).. Oh and yes: You've changed your avatar and your signature as I can see

Best wishes,

S-Line Audi Fan

i think it looks good, despite of the faux pas. i mean, the whole car looks like a bloody spaceship anyways hahahaha. so i guess you pulled this one off really well! it's taking off like that de lorean from back to the future. great blur and contrast though. well done mate!
check out my gallery one of these days if u want

hahaha, that's true! I'll check out and comment on your gallery later today, as well as all the other active photomode galleries. 👍

I think the brightness of the DZ is too high to match the background, that's why it looks a bit out of place. If you really want to brighten the DZ, you can try to brighten certain parts of the body, such as the side end and the tip of front bumper, because the light come from both end of the tunnel. Anyhow it still look really cool. Extremely futuristic!!

Yeah, I think I went a little overboard dodging the car, and burning the front left tire area, gave up on it :indiff: I intended to symmetrically align the extreme edges with the background, but those pics didn't turn out as I had hoped. And it's futuristic indeed, though the car's from 1978! :D Thanks for commenting.

Any requests?

Other than a Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R '00 At New York using PMC editing rules, any white car using 2.0 rules, a road car with a wing using PMC rules, nor a shot of a drift gone wrong (open edit.)

@Balang_479: 👍
@Skyline49: sounds awesome, no guarantees though :scared:
@TVR&F_F: Not sure if you saw my reply, I can do it either way.
@?????: I'm working on a secret photomode project related to GTP, not intended for the photomode forum though...Keep an eye out :mischievous:

I'm so awesome I left my GT4 at a friend's house who is on vacation :ouch:

Some new pics though!

And a new banner:

Looove the Tommy Kiara. If I had an album, I'd be that radical but sinse I do it only for competitions, I don't have a chance.

That pic of the G35 is pretty good, and the new banner to me is the best so far. Not 100% sure about ZZII though: to me, you kinda overdid it a bit.

Thanks, also there's no reason not to make an album. :)

Thanks :) The ZZII's style is intentionally overdone, it was inspired by the upcoming game Madworld:

Ah, so that's where you got the inspiration from! Now I understand. You could have made it black and white, though.

Very good update. I like the G35 (very classic) and your new banner is fantastic.
Not very found of pictures with artistic filers, but you happen to made that Kaira shot wonderful, just looks like a painting, looks like a cloth or some type of African painting 👍

Excellent update, ceiling_fan 👍 I like all three shots.. You're doing your work very good :)

Best wishes,

S-Line Audi Fan

I´m liking this new set of updates! Your banner is just awesome, very fancy!!:)
The 1st shot is highly realistic and detailed, and the 2nd shot...WOW, you really were inspired :D

Well done C_F!:)

Thanks man! I agree with you about artistic filters, generally if I use them I duplicate the background, apply the filter, and reduce the opacity to abput 5-20%. Some examples of me doing this are this, this and this :)

I wondered how you did those 👍

When you put out updates like this one...:D:tup:

The G35=realistic and just plain awesome.
The Tommy - I don't like the artistic filters much either, but man... you picked a great pic to do it to. The trees of that location against the car look amazing.

Thanks, the trees were definitely my favorite part too.

The border I used on that shot was totally stolen by the way  Here it is if you want to overlay it (save target, option+click on mac) http://uploadpsd.com/file/54129.psd

The second pic is incredible! The colors contrast very well with the white and black background. It was truly a smart choice to keep the red and gold colors. 👍
