Seeing the real tracks makes me hate PD for making the grass and dirt so clean and vibrant. Real grass doesn't look like that, Kaz, it does not!

I think it's good. Adds some sort of 'simulator feel' when it's not overdetailed I think.

i have been working on making backgrounds for the ps3 using google earth, all the images are 1920x1080 as needed for the ps3 theme builder, here are the tracks i have so far

coming out of turn 6 into nascar turn 1.

coming out of nascar turn 4 onto the main straight.

i got some more of the tack but sadly i cant get to them until sunday.

Yeah, it looks like its animation. That would be insiane if PD could match that type of graphics for GT5

Look at that toyota GTone about to take the lead. Sadly they lost to BMW in the end because of a blown tire on the straight causing them to lose the lead and get a second place.

That looks too cartoony. GT5 will be brighter than that and actually have a sunlight blur. That looks as cartoony as Forza.

Looks like a photoshopped picture to me, or one with some interesting exosure, pretty sure it is real though.
