Thanks for the kind words everyone 👍 👍

Well, maybe I’ll drag this a little longer. I’ll release the NC and one more before I’ll release THE MAJOR update. I’ll simply explain why - With the real update I am thinking of start changing my style of presentation (slowly), to things with more impact. You’ll see what I mean once you see it, if, you can see it, that is. :mischievous:

But for now, stay with some of my NC Competition entries. This was a good competition (not stupendous has it would get repetitive) but very good.

Thanks for the comment S-Line Audi Fan, glad you like it 👍

Ok, this is the last competition set befour my real UPDATE (and this time for real), but I'll keep releasing some competitions sets (after THE Update), since I still have some competitions that haven't been featured in the gallery, stay tuned :)

Holy S&*^ bro! You know what? I actually really like this update. Very awesome sinister feeling it has to it. I really love the first, third and fifth. Simple but sinister. :D
I also like how you incorporated the third pic link into the overall background picture:tup:

yet another great update!! i have tried to actually comment here earlier, 3 times to be honest. but i am having problems with my internet. the black update, i have to admit has a mysterious appeal on some of them, and some have great color combinations with them, specially the fourth one, while some shots could use a bit more context & or movement to give a better view of the photo. other than that, it is one of the great updates for this month, together with the second set of the collection of the competition entries. well done and keep this up! may i add, about the guideline you made, another way of getting great tones and color is mastering the channel mixer filter, and integrating it with the color balance, and coordinate it with the gamma adjustments. just saves u more time.

LdS, in my opinion, this is one of your best updates :dopey: Your work gets better and better from update to update 👍 I can't find the words to describe how good you update is  .. But there's one thing I can always tell you: Keep up the good work :)

Best wishes,

S-Line Audi Fan

First let me say, the NC and artistic updates...5 stars Luis:) But from that time, to the present time...your skills...BOOOMM!!!!
The blackout update, what the hell??!! Sinister look all over!! Great choice of car btw! The 4th shot, man.., just lovely!!! in the 3rd...those headlights are really nicely detailed, great style!! You are really inspired lately aren´t you? :)
The panels are also a great touch, and the one you used in the blackout, you couldn´t have choosed better:tup:

Indeed, a update to remember:)

Thanks everyone for all the great comments on my Blackout project.

This one is the First of my two remixes that I have been delayed since I don’t know when. Well, there was actually a third remix that I promised =ReBeL= to do, but I still don’t have the skills to do what I want, so, when I can, I’ll do it.

Has I promised to mag, here it is the remix of one of the most amazing updates that can be found in his gallery. There was one shot, that he asked (someone that wanted) to try and clean the car. The picture itself is amazing, but for cleaning is a pain in the butt. I am not very pleased with the remix itself, but this was the best I could do, mixing all the types of car cleaning that I know of and I am more used to. But here it is:

Credit for magburner for this great picture 👍

 Awesome!

You've done a great job on those wheel arches pal, they look crisp (as opposed to crinkly!) I also like some of the other cleaning up you've done, and the overall look and feel of the image is fantastic. I also like the lighting you have chosen. It adds a whole new dimension to the image. Fantastic work mate! 👍

 I'm honoured that you would take the time and effort to rework one of my shots. Thanks pal, this is greatly appreciated! 👍

Yep, nice job on both of your parts 👍 :) :D :sly: :dopey:

...

The hood (bonnet :P) looks a bit... I don't know. Strange.

sorry for my weird post it's 3:38 in the morning.....

Thanks everyone for the comments.
Mag, glad you like it. I is a pleasure to remix someone’s picture, especially great pictures, such as yours.👍

c_f, don’t even think of speaking about the hood 👍. The problem with the hood comes from the car itself and the angle it is on. There wasn’t much I could do to remediate, though, it gave me an headache.

S-Line, thanks for the comment 👍

I know, I know, I am updating in a rather quick and unusual range, but that is because I am feeling inspired to Photoshop lately.
Here is my latest production, a remix of one of NTX pictures, from his early days. I like it very much, and it was a quick one to work with (nothing that would require much time).
Enjoy

Credit for NTX for this great shot.

Hey LDS, how did you manage to work with that crappy shot?
Your version is so much better...I really sucked on that time
The lights, the colours, that grain...great work!! The car has nice reflections too, seems like you take it to the car wash 👍

Thanks LDS :)

What's up bro...Here's thing thing. The blurring on the Motul Z shot looks a bit odd to me, like the brush got away from you in some spots. On the other hand...it gives of a slight sense of "heat". So that's pretty cool imo. The background blurring is great to bring out the great details in the car like the perfect wheel arches and wheels. The spoiler looks quite nice too. And I love the sun reflection coming from that back quarter panel.
As for the skyline...The colors and sharpness are great. I love the background once again, and how the curb seems to be sharp yet disappear into the darkenss (as it also does in NTX shot 👍 for that)
Nice job man!

Both updates are looking good, with great panel design to boot as well. only one thing on the nissan, and that's the lines on the hood opening could have been better looking by spending a bit more time with the smudge tool. the inconsistent lines look a wee bit distracting, atleast to me. and some areas could have used a bit more smoothing as well,
but the clean up on the rest of the car carries itself inspite of the little things, while the gt-r could have used a little bit more exposure just to expose the rear end a little bit more, but then again i guess it's the style of the shot. i would have applied some light effects with a red filter just to emphasize the taillights a little bit more, but that's just my opinion. the photo itself looks good, same goes with the race car. i say you did a really good job!!

ps: speaking of remixes, i have a screen capture (photomode capture) of a ferrari f430 gt2 showroom shot from ferrari challenge if you wanna try and polish it off  it's so jagged though. let me know if you're interested and i'll post in up for you. i mean, it's got potential, it would just take a lot of work i think. i'm just not in the mood for it hahaha. try it out! see what happens

This Fairlady is even cleaner! :D It looks so good and so warm.. The RX-7 shot is just great, the saturation is phenomenal and I like the fact, that the shot is black and white.. The Viper.. Oh man.. This shot is excell.. No.. It's.. I can't find words for how good this shot is.. The fact that you painted it blue and you can't even notice it, is enough for me to say that this shot is awesome, but the fact that this shot also is very sharp and shiny makes me speechless.. The colours are great.. It's shiny and has got some nice reflections.. Well done! 👍

EDIT: Just noticed something: The exhaust of the RX-7 looks like a human face, the eyes are closed and it's smiling.. Great! 👍

Absolutely :drool::drool: update! We are bloody brilliant! Your Viper is just so flawless I can't say anything else about it. Just that it is one of my favorite shots that you've ever ever done. The color change was a great call.
The RX-7 is just plain cool. Simple and powerful, also a good call on the B&W. The blurring all around the tarmac and background was a good touch.
Lastly, the Fairlady has brilliant tones and the cleaning is spot on. It's been a pleasure working with you :D

That Viper reminds me of this

I'm not a fan of the colour conversion, as it would've worked out better with the '99 GTS, but it's a great effort anyhow 👍

Nice shots though, the Fairlady needs some lowering by the way :P

👍

Lets check this part of the update...starting with the panel, very pro looking buddy!!

The shots...oh my god!!!! The Viper, the blue color is the cherry on the top of the cake, you just made on of your best editions!!! Superb!!!
The RX7, is so simple looking, but you really made it look stylish. And the blur...great!!!
The Fairlady 2000...WoW!!! Just WoW, believe it Luis:tup:

As I said in Swiss gallery, its great to see talented members like you guys working together. Well done 👍

Before I forget to mention; Leave the .png filing behind. Loading times are 3 times more while the increase in quality is not noticeable. Just a heads up, it's irritating with such loading times when the quality is the same as a .jpg ;)

Of course, mine is better :sly: :P

I was inspired on a mixture of this two pictures:

http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x149/nicknamealguem/202b5oh9cu.jpg by 440_Charger
But, as you said, the colour changing would suite better the the 99’ Viper (and of course, jacoja, 440_Charger and even yours are better).

And I don't think I'll be lowering rides anywhere soon. (No skills to do it):indiff:

We should work on a update together also 💡

Errr, I think you are mistaken? That is Swiss, mine are all .jpg (I knew this would happen)

My apologies for that 👍 It's easy to get the two of you mixed, after all, we're in the same epic club :dopey:
