Go look at GME driftking and learn how to actually launch a garage. 19 tunes for a garage launch, still the biggest launch out of ALL the garages. :sly:

Tunes at launch don't matter much. You can be great at first, but with time suck. I am an example of that in life: at first I used to study a lot, now I barely study (much like everyone I know). However, when someone does these kind of things, it makes me think that they won't progress at all, even with time (remember mazdman's "awesome" garage?).

Tunes at launch don't matter much. You can be great at first, but with time suck.

True, but it's like falling off a bike too C-L, once you know how to do it, you can come back after many months off and get straight back into putting out atomic speed cars (like I have with my C5 ZR-1).

However, when someone does these kind of things, it makes me think that they won't progress at all, even with time (remember mazdman's "awesome" garage?).

That's what RJ & I were getting at. We feel it's going to be one of those things but I will hold with baited breath that driftking will come out very soon with some good cars for people to play with. 👍

You are right, though I worded myself incorrectly. What I meant is that you can put up a lot of cars at launch, but they may all suck. I would bet it's not your case, though.

I started mine without a tune! I've been limiting my tuning... Trying to get better at it! All I was doing was front wheel drive cars, it was fun for awhile.... I then needed to go back to the drawing board, that I have. I'm getting ready to drop some more stuff, and I hope that will be somewhat of a hit!

I wish this tuner a lot of luck, and one day maybe in the top 10 or so....!

So, our good friend Ryo went up against some cars in the Dream Car Championship. He kicked their arses. Backstreet? What do you mean by backstreet? Well, we mean a tune done to a budget. Our model was a 10km special, but we think it can work on high mileage cars as well. Here in Ireland, we get so many shameless attempts to make a stock Civic look like a Type R. It makes me sick. Knowing their owners can't afford expensive tuning, we built this car to a budget. Well, tuning is really expensive in GT4! So, we've built it to a Cr.30,000 budget. The result? We knocked 8 seconds off its time as stock at Suzuka West.

Ah, the humble RPS-13 Silvia. We decided to see if we could get it aroud Tsukuba faster than a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 M-Spec Nur. Goddamn, what a mouthful! The Skyline registered a 1'02.9xx. Our first time with the Silvia registered a 1'08.3xx (with only a non-adjsuted wing and an oil change, to bump it up to 213hp). But the laptimes quickly tumbled until we hit our target - and then some, with a 1'02.5xx. So we recommend it for anyone taking on the Japanese Car Championship, but not for the All Japan GT Championship. Unless you have the name Michael Schumacher and you're from Huerth Hermuelheim. Cost: Cr.30,650.

That's technically an RPS13.

PS13 is a proper SR20 Silvia, RS13 is a CA18 powered 180SX, S13 is a CA18 Silvia.

I have decided to do requests. For every decent review, I will provide a tune. Just don't make stupid requests, like "I wanna 6 min Honda Civic Type R on the 'Ring." Not gonna happen. If the review is "This car is awesome!" or "This car is crap!" and not much else, I will not bother making a tune for you. Constructive criticism is okay, e.g. "this car needs more grip" or "lengthen the gear ratios, it could use better acceleration". I'm fine with constructive criticism.

At Katana Tuning, I think that to prove your prowess as a true tuner, you must produce a fully tuned Skyline GT-R R34. The base model is a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II Nur. After weeks of refinement, this car can now lap Tsukuba in the 0'48-9 region on R3's and in the 0'46-7 region on R5's. Not bad for a 8-year old Datsun, huh? :sly:

Following a B-Spec test at the Nurburgring against other fully-tuned Skylines, the Vader Skyline came out on top by nearly 6 seconds, with a 6'20.397. We will not name those who failed to beat it, but I'm pretty sure that my 1,056hp Skyline from GT3 would be no match for it.

Sorry, no can do. That requires parts which will break your budget just on their own. Also, I don't tune drifters. My reactions usually spin any potential drifters out.

I did it at pace 3. Pace 4, as you said, makes him spin out a few times. I don't consider myself a "Ringmeister", my hands are too twitchy. Blame the Red Bull.
