By this post , I announce the birth of M&M tuners.
Here and now.
This garage will concentrate to provide fast , maybe the fastest Max speed , 1000m and 1/4 mile tunes.

"I have allways felt like there is something missing from the tuner section at :gtplanet: " -MadMax86
A garage dedicated to 1/4 mile 1000m or Max speed tuning.
So, this is what we aim to do here, fill the gap.

We, the tuners:

:eek::scared:

I think I've been infiltrated. :nervous: I passed on a TGC tune to Macca (thinking he was going to drive for GME) and 3hrs later he's gone and created this garage with Max.

NOT HAPPY JAN IF THIS IS THE CASE!! :grumpy:

*added bit* I wonder if you two will combine your skills to take my 400m GT-R record away. ;)

Don't worry RJ, Max has responded to me through my visitor page and assured me that the tune isn't being used. 👍

I'm waiting for the response to my question I've asked him though, which one is the Red M&M and which one is the Yellow M&M?? :sly::P:lol:

*added bit* We'll shut up now and not spam up the thread. Can't wait to see what comes out boys!! :D

I'm the green M&M. :P

I'll reserve this post for my tunes, which'll be up tomorrow. I'm at a new year's party at the moment, you all know what they're like...

Thanks MadMax for getting to this so quickly 👍 You weren't kidding when you said 'before 2010'!

I think the fact that you are giving away all these Top Speed tunes is probably going to piss off Dark Elite.

Probably, but with GT5 coming closer, and users showing less interest in GT4, I have no hesitation in publishing record-breaking tunes, and MadMax probably feels the same way to a point. However, there are some records that are being taken to the grave

I see your ban was only temporary, too. Let's hope it doesn't happen again 💡

Couldn't have summed it up better myself macca. There's some cars most of the guys share between eachother (as you all have with the RX7 vs Viper battle in FR) and others (like the Escudo and R35 GT-R Proto) are a closely held secret, and trying to figure it out to the level that some of us have done is like getting the stig to remove his helmet....impossible.

Mind you, there was a time when I-Runner and I shared secrets back in the day. Not many mind you because he was #1 and I was trying to chase him down, but he helped me out and even then I didn't get that much, just what I missed in my arsenal. 👍 He kept his 300mph secrets even closer than that. When GT5 comes out you will see most of us go back out there as individuals again and keep all our little secrets.

Unless we clan up together as an all-star drag team for GTP! Think of this as an equation, macca + max + mafs + RJ = :mischievous:

Notes:
For dragracing , launch the car at 2nd gear max revving and inject nos right after launch to cut the wheelspin.
Shift up at 5800-6000 rpm. Use gears 2-5 for 1/4 mile run and 2-6 for 1000m run.

For TGC3 , all that is left of the dragster is suspension and the car's V8 heart , that got a bloodtransfer . Now pumping out 324bhp and 588.61Nm of torgue.
Gears needed to be readjusted due to lower power to match the ones on original dragster as close as possible , shift up at 5100 rpm.
This setup is a handful on N2's , good luck!

Damn... :( I sold my prize Cougar. Do you know if gearing will change if I buy a used Cougar, MadMax86?

I think you are asking: does less power work different with the gearings given
and the answer is yes.
