I think you are asking: does less power works different with the gearings given and the answer is yes.

I suggest that you increase the given final gear ratio by 0.050-0.100 to compensate lower power of used car.
And if that causes griploss you can increase the gear 1's value so that it "boosts" less the 2nd gear. The launching gear.
I'm not saying that the used Cougar will be as fast as the new one, but It won't be far off :dopey:

I was waiting for you to pipe up C-L. :P That's kind of why I didn't reply to mazdaman's request. You both have two records, but yours are both in the Top 5, whereas Mazdaman's barely get in to the Top 10! Just on merits I'd pick you, but personal preference would swing my vote your way too. :cool:
