This Month At Suzuka: Ferrari Cali & Lotus Elise 111r '04
This Month At Eiger Nordwand: Lotus Elise (use tune above-lotus@eiger 550pp)

Hey Guys,

This month is going to be very competitive online as we were blessed with a sweet 700pp course at Suzuka. At this level you can bring practically anything you want to the track and be fast. I couldn't bring my monster Ford GT LM because 700pp is to low but I have two tunes here that will keep you in first place. The lotus elise@suzuka tune will come in a week or so right now I'm having to much fun hugging the corners with the Ferrari, lol. For now just use my 550pp lotus tune at Suzuka listed above and up the hp.

NOTE: Do not use the gearing above because I had no time to tune that section as i was late for work. It runs good. I ran 1 race with no warm ups this morning and I smoked a GTR (george_grr???)and a Viper (gt_racing_nz???) i think it was by 12 seconds to hang onto first place. Stay tuned....

Tried both tunes, and whilst the second is easier to drive, I managed my fastest lap ever with the old tune - 1'01.192, but have never managed to repeat it! My first racing lap with the second tune was straight into 1'02 territory, and I am more consistently fast with that tune. Still find that a well sorted Amuse or Corvette can beat me, but that's probably just my driving skills!

People, I haven't lost yet on HSR using this tune.

I know I have not been able to stay with you!
I read the GTP etiquette rules after I knocked you into the wall at the finish; realized was not sporting.

You don't have to be so mean about it though!

I will try your tune and see if I can keep up with you next time. Cheers,

Is that right with the ride hieght? +10 / +10 or do you mean -10 /-10 unless you are going rally racing?

...then this modified one is even better and will make you feel like the gt racing community is a joke on HSR and that you are the best.

 Be careful your head doesnt grow to abnormal size... it will weigh you down and you'll never reach that 1.01,xxx youre looking for...

I'm going to try your tune tonight. I like that car but I find that making it comfortable is a challenge for me. I've been using a Vette tune that allows me to get into the 3's with an occasional high 2 comfortably and that's the limit of my driving ability. This may not be the place but I do want to echo Blaquejaques sentiment about you not having to be mean about an error. I can handle the meaness, it's just not nessessary. I tagged the guy in front of you which sent him into the wall and i pulled over to let him (and you) by which should have told you that I knew I screwed up.

Yea I was wondering the same thing, especially since there are banked turns at HSR *shrugs*

....and +10 on the ABS. That's pretty "Aids infected to me" I usually try to use my left foot for traction control to practice on my reflex. :dopey: I got a chance to beat you once since you spun out and I had a 7 second lead but you quickly caught up after 4 laps but caught you at the last turn. Yes, you are quick but if it was GT5 and tire wear was implemented you would be pitting every 4 laps. So that style of driving would be a problem in the real world. Thanks for the suggesting the tune but no thanks anyway. Must be a flaw in the pyshics if its +10 / +10 on the ride hieght.

Oh! I didn't get the part were you said in PSM that the GTLM makes its own draft. How exactly does that happen? Does it mean that it goes so fast that after a lap around the track that you are able to catch your own draft?

That's a joke right there. You will learn quickly that egos get you nowhere fast around here 👍

I truly believe that on any track at 800pp this car can not be beaten with this tune. People, I haven't lost yet on HSR using this tune.

I think I know a few people that can change that.

Give him a chance to respond!

I tried his tune and it made that car more enjoyable to drive than the default settings!

NOw how about an Amuse 2000 turbo tune for HSR 800 pp please!

Look in the 800pp HSR thread in Race Events, there are at least two tunes posted.

+10 ride height can be better than lower too. ;)

Sorry, didn't mean to make my post sound like an A-hole but I was just questioning his setup even though I know he was really fast. But I do stand corrected, it's not a Rally setup but more like a Drifting setup. So my comment still stands on the tires won't holdup in an entire race if it applied in the real world or if this was GT5 and had tire wear.

But to each his own whatever works to get a fast lap, right? :sly: Oh! I see the logic in the +10 now since the springs are set to 1 then I guess the downforce in high speed will bring the car height back down. I still find it odd.

This guy must be Tony´s cousin or something ! I not the best around here and im sure i dont have the best setup, but i still manage a 1.02.236 (free air) with 3 weeks with a G25! Your not special and youll learn that pretty soon around this forum:sly:!

I've tried this setting, found the car a bit hard to control and too wild, on the other hand, the setup of the Amuse S2000 by our friend Blitz feels much better, slower lap times, but I feel more confident, while again this setup of the Ford GT feels...loose, less contact with the road.
I must ask, do you drive this car with this setup with a logitech wheel or a sixsaxis?

Fight....fight...fight

OMG. Here we go again.....!!!! Raced with bk4eva before. Not to defend him or anything, but he offered his fruits of hard labor. Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but why is he getting bash again.

bk4eva, I can't get anywhere near the 102s at HSR, but I will give your tune a shot man. If it works out, I'll be sure to thank you here brother.

I think some of the words he used in his original post have been misinterpreted... It just came off as if he had a bit of an ego, I have never raced him, so I can't really say.... but saying stuff like:

You just have to try it. For those who tried the previous tunes and loved them, then this modified one is even better and will make you feel like the gt racing community is a joke on HSR and that you are the best.

Usually doesnt get you the best reactions on this site, if you know what I mean...

My personal goal is to get this car running in the 1'01.xxx range in a single lap with no draft. right now it runs 1.02.183 no draft. By the way I am using a VisionRacer 3 racing seat with a G27 racing wheel using manual shift on a 65" Sharp Aquos HDTV.

This is bk4eva and I'm out.

There is nothing special about 1.01.xxx.With your old tune and some modifications, my best free air lap was 1.01.7xx
And I was doing a lot laps under 02.With your last one and some modifications, I see 1.01.5xxx.I run a couple of races and I did
10.25.9xx.

Was racing this guy's setup round the ring, its incredibly fast. Dude was raming everyone off the road, spinning out and then catching up within a lap to ram everyone some more. If he just raced flatout he would have blown everyone away. Awesome setup, but a what dick for raming everyone.

I have raced him, often with the Amuse (more fun to drive that the GTLM), and I learned he doesn't appear to be a sporting gent.

I now leave him to race his unbeatable, as he describes it, set up alone, or I just race with the other racers.

I had a bad one yesterday:

The only GTLM on Pro HSR 800PP, against 6 Amuses.
Used another tune then this guaranteed winning one.
I'm not the greatest driver was doing 1'02 high with drafting, 1'03 mids without.:indiff:

After 6 rounds I end up in first position :) , the others seemed too occupied hugging walls
ng3n5y.gif
to drive fast.

Then "Connection to server lost" ....
Tried 2 more times, but again "Connection to server lost" ....

Ended up doing some Beginners Events on Daytona Speedway, crazy :scared: people there...

LAST UPDATED: Sunday, Feb 28, 2010

This is the last update to this tune i was running with the week before it was taken down.

If you thought "The Tune" couldn't have got any better, well you're in for a nice surprise. Once again, if you visited this page before Feb 28 then you have the old tune. This tune is a personal favorite of mine. Words can't describe the performance of this tune. However, if I had to try my best I would say that this tune is very comfortable, fast, and allows you to drive at the limit even with several drinks in your system. For those who tried the previous tunes and loved them, then this modified tune will make you better and make you feel like you can even take your competition in reverse.

Power(HP) 535 -9
Weight(kg) 1001 86
Tires R2 R3
Aerodynamics 19 35

Ride Height(mm) +8 +10
Spring Rate 4 1
Damper 2 3
Toe(OUT / IN) -0.13 -0.20
Camber Angle(+ / -) 2.3 2.3
Break Balance 7 5
F/R Torque Distribution - -
Max Turning Angel 40
Traction Control off
ABS 10

Transmission
1st Gear 77 2.578
2nd Gear 120 1.652
3rd Gear 158 1.239
4th Gear 201 0.982
5th Gear 217 0.838
6th Gear 293 0.686
Final Gear 3.032

10 laps best: 10'27.239
single lap best: 1'02.140

Advantages over last tune:
*faster break response in turns
*turns into the corner easier
*faster acceleration

My goal here is to make people feel more comfortable driving this Ford GT LM Spec II car and at the same time be competitive in the online arena. I truly believe that on any track at 800pp this car can not be beaten with this tune. People, I haven't lost yet on HSR using this tune.

Please if you have used this setup, I would love to hear your feed back on how the car handles for you.
Thank you all that replied to me on my psn:bk4eva account. I would love your feedback here as well so people can read about your experience.

This Month At Suzuka: 2'13.964 (picture on first page)

I thought I would share this amazing tune because it's just that amazing actually. This tune allows you to do whatever you wish with your vehicle and still remain on track. Nothing else can describe it. You just need to try it for yourself. For yall lotus lovers, we only have 1 or 2 more days before the next rotation then you can kiss this lotus car goodbye. Write down this tune, then turn on gt5p on your ps3 and head on track and own the road.

Please try this tune and let me know what you thought about it. Thanks.

You are joking right?? :yuck: If not then you are just as crap driver as GT4 AI and need to learn how to overtake/drive properly 💡

And dont think you are so special, I know plenty of top drivers who would beat you..

Great lap 👍

You seem like you may enjoy competing, so you might enjoy this website:

http://gtdb.net/?laps/1/550/0/*/3/R

Although you would be the slowest of the 111R drivers, I recommend posting your lap anyway- we all have to start somewhere, and nobody here will give you a hard time for being in last place :)

Thank you all that replied to me on my psn:bk4eva account.

What did you say your name was? :embarrassed:

Yep, no denying he's reasonably quick, but deliberately knocked me off track on Lap 1 (took 2 goes to make sure he did too), which as we know in the 550RWD event, kinda leaves you out in the cold after that!

Total loser!!

I'm tired of running this race and then get bored and result to passing people, spinning them out, then passing them again and spinning them out. It's getting boring. I WANT TO RACE SO BRING IT LADIES.............

...........NOTE: If you see me on track gaining on you, slow down and let me pass cause I will not adjust
my racing line for you.

you are for me only a n00b, punter, crasher, not more. i said that to you already via a ingame massage. 👎

you remember our race a couple of days before? nothing more to say.
waiting for the privats rooms, then you can have fun with Siegmund & Co. 👍
