In matte black? I WANT ONE! I'LL EVEN SHIP IT TO HK MYSELF!!! If only I was old enough, I would whack a turbo from a dragster on it :D :dopey: :P :)

No, cream white. It's pretty rare, don't see them often & I see a lot of cars. Saw a sweet Ferrari California just the other day, it's much smaller then I was expecting. A few SLS Mercs last week, they are sexy.

Oh that's nothing! I've seen a Bugatti Veyron, a Bentley Continental Supersport, a NSX, a Ferrari 355, a Ferrari 430, a Ferrari 458, an Aston Martin DB9, an Aston Martin DBS, a Pagani Zonda S, etc. All in the short space of 3 days :D

There is a lot also in Brasil, this car have fantastic lines, low ride.... but need some venom ! i go with onboy and his turbine..:)

I don't go to shows or meets anymore, too busy working & finishing my Project car. I see them around all over. However when the F1 race is in town, every car on your list can be seen cruising Down Town MTL.

Wooooo! Karmann Ghia Type 34R Turbo GTiS-RR SuperSport :D Now, Assassin, buy that car from your mate, and we'll fund you to create it :D Nick the suspension from a 991 GT3, the turbos from a dragster, the drivetrain stuff from a Bugatti Veyron, and then gut the interior!! :dopey: 91726073475hp in 0.0000000000001 kg :D

Wow, you two really are brothers, aren't you :D You even share the same camera/phone :D :dopey:

I may just have a Split Personality Disorder, I'm unable to distinguish No_OB as that, and I see my alter personalities as brothers...

(o_O)

Want PD to give us a few cars like this one! Also the tracks to run them on.:D

Want to welcome a new outlaw, test driver and tuning partner ACSR421. AC has volunteered to step in as our in-house transmission specialist, LSD tech and all around good guy. This means you will be seeing improvements made to already released tunes and you can expect even higher quality and performance from our future tunes.
Thanks AC and welcome to the team here at Wallbanger's Cafe & Outlaw Motorsports Garage.👍👍:gtpflag:

Thanks for the intro desperado, I know I'm just a rookie that will have to produce to earn my place here and look forward to working with all of you. So as I begin my journey into the world of outlaws. I have a couple of my favorite cars up on share for the garage members and friends. One is the car I used in the 50K budget car challenge, an '04 Subaru Spec. C. It was misrepresented as an '05 wrx in the challenge but this is the car I used. The second is a TVR V8S that plays a sweet v8 symphony around the track. Their just here for playing around in though and a public release is doubtfull:guilty:

Outlaws feel free to F.R. me my psn is: acsr421

Glad to be onboard, AC

Finally figured out a way to use the in game camera to take photos of the cars and get those pictures on here. It's a pain the way I'm doing it but you can look forward to seeing slightly higher quality pictures for all my tunes shortly. Also from now on all new tunes will have a photo with them on release. :) Hope this improves the feel of the garage and we can get some more business. As always everyone is welcome to post photos of the cars tuned here and if suitable I'll copy the photo/s to the tunes along with credit for the photographer. Which reminds me I think I need to credit Drewsifer3x for the picture now being shown with the Gila Monster tune.👍👍

Looking for a resident photographer? My GT5 Portfolio
Would love to have a resident photographer for the garage.
Currently I'm doing things the hard way uploading pictures to Picasa downloading them onto my cellphone then uploading them to my Photobucket account to get a html code I can easily copy and paste into the posts here.
I'm sure there's an easier way but my coding skills are extremely rusty...so its easier to just copy a preformated line of code.:dopey:

Thanks for the borrow of Quicksilver. It's surprisingly more controllable with that plank on the boot. :yuck:

Took it for a quick run round deep forest, and the 1:20ish time looked something like this.

That's it for me in GT5 for a week, the in-laws have descended.

Thanks for giving it a spin and the great picture. I'll add the photo to its tune.

Good luck with the inlaws and here's hoping you can at least check in on the FF Shootout finals.

Nice. Thanks.👍

Oh, I'll be watching, don't you worry.:sly:
If you haven't already check out Quicksilver's tune now with the new photos.:D

Great, hopefully we can finish the shootout in proper style and get everyone pumped up for the next event here in the tuners forum. It's great to see everyone participating and making this a real, active community, instead of just somewhere to turn for resource material.:gtpflag:

Does that mean I have the job? :)
Feel free to start at any time.👍👍

Must warn you though...the pay sucks, the food is lousy, and the work is never ending. Of course on the bright side you get to spend time with an assortment of odd character's and cars while engaging in witty conversations with GT Planets resident crazy  outlaw and his band of merry men.:D:cheers::gtpflag:

Want to extend a hearty welcome to our band of merry men here at Harvey Wallbanger's Cafe & Outlaw Motorsports Garage, BryCivicSi our new Staff Outlaw Photographer.:bowdown::gtpflag:

He's already started providing us with quality photo's and has mentioned creating a banner for the entrance. Check out his other work in the Photography Forum and elsewhere.👍👍

Yes it's true. The Swedish Hammer is faster than the frog with the hand up it's ass.:sly:
Disgusting isn't it that something that big is actually that fast.:ill:

Oh well by next summers FF shootout Mjolner should be about perfect as it still needs some work to fully unleash its thunder.

By the way I would like to see some times for it and any comments to make it better.

Yeah, sorry. I was intending to, but got distracted by something shiny so just hit send.

2:04.445 was the fastest in a 5 lap stint (GVS). The only other green lap was 2 secs slower, so it should go faster with a bit more practice. From memory, my fastest lap with Kermit was my next to last.

It seems to overload the outside front tyre very early on corner entry, so is slower through the bend than it could be. The gearing could perhaps use a little attention. If you drop out of the high rev range, it takes an awfully long time to get back into it.

Thanks for the input. I've already sent a message to ACSR421 to have a go at the gears and LSD so they should be performing better in a day or two.
Have a few thoughts on suspension I'll be trying today after work so hopefully it will have a smoother corner entry. So far I'm impressed with how well it grips once into the corner, so if I can get the transition smoothed out it should actually be much faster. Will post the working tune today and then update it as improvements are made.
Oh almost forgot to ask...did you check the tires? That one may have had a set of RS tires as well as the SS tires. Was using one on the Supercar races.

Definitely SS. After the cheeky monkey 'incident' I have been looking...

Volvo S60-

Too loose for its own good, can't get out of corners quick enough due to oversteer.

Doesn't feel……finished. It feels like I'm driving a prototype car.

Drives like Kermit, and is a bit tamer. but only just.

Too much power, needed to be harnessed. Wasn't. The steering feels……heavy, detached.

Wasn't desperately fast. Was in the 2:06s for a lot of the time.

Great fun, just needs to be more serious.

The Outlaw Motorsports Garage tunes
Volvo S60 T-5 Sport '03 "Mjölnir"

So our story begins with the announcement of Wallbanger's 1st Annual Million Credit FF Summer Shootout. The outlaws started buying nearly every FF car they could get their hands on. After a quick engine rebuild and tightening of the body by GT Auto, they would gut the car in the interest of weight and then slap every performance enhancing part they could fit onto the car. Harvey would roll out onto Grand Valley Speedway and open the throttle up. Doing his level best (oft times unsuccessfuly it must be noted) to avoid the sand pits and walls of GVS Harvey would see if the car had what was needed to warrant further efforts at tuning and testing the car with a quick (relatively speaking of course) lap or two. From the start things didn't look to promising for the S60. The car weighed in at an immense 1550kg and its handling left a lot to be desired. Many other cars were bought and tested and as the due date for the competition grew closer people started to ask what car Wallbanger and the Outlaw Motorsports Garage was going to enter. With his usual flair for the dramatic Harvey proclaimed that he had at least a dozen cars that could give the Integras a run for their money, and so the so called "Dirty Dozen" was born. Harvey made a list of his top picks and despite looking at literally dozens of cars found the big Volvo to be one of the few to meet his basic criteria and so it found its way as one of the last selections made onto Wallbanger's "Dirty Dozen" list. While the car had managed to make the cut and so come in for more extensive tuning and testing no one at the garage really expected much. So everyone was duly impressed, when after the first round of tuning on the "Dirty Dozen", the car, now code named "Mjölnir", after the Norse God of thunder Thor's Hammer, turned in the fastest lap time. However looking at its still ponderous bulk and the fact that it was one of the slowest cars in the "Dirty Dozen", the time was seen more as a fluke and it was felt that there was little more that could be gained with "Mjölnir". But it was the car that wouldn't seem to go away. Every time Harvey would hit the track for another round of tests there was "Mjölnir" setting the best lap time. After a couple false starts with other cars, the outlaws found themselves with only a couple days to get their car ready and entered in the shootout. It was at this point that the car code named "Kermit" finally set several laps that were faster than those that "Mjölnir" had posted. So the decision was made to halt all development work on other cars and "Mjölnir" got pushed to the side once more. With the results of the shootout in and some free time on their hands the topic of the "Dirty Dozen" came up once more and the first of these cars to get a full tune is "Mjölnir". So Harvey Wallbanger & his band of merry outlaws presents this tune. This truly is a hammer worthy of the god of thunder.

Hmmm……should I start writing reviews again? I wonder………Anyways, what ever happened to your kimchi express? Surely you're going to an unlimited version for both of them, right? :D

Okay the settings for "Mjölnir" are much better but not quite where I want them, plus as you can see it still needs ACSR421's actual transmission and LSD settings. Feel free to use what I have on here to adjust the one I sent you and provide me feedback.

Yes I will do unlimited versions of all the "Dirty Dozen" as I get them tuned to my satisfaction. With "Mjölnir" there probably won't be a huge change in performance as the weight savings from losing the Ballast and slight increase in speed that gains, will probably be offset by cornering issues that arise from the change in weight distribution.
