Is it the real car list or is it in construction? Because i don't see the Subaru Impreza STI Spec C, all the others cars in the big picture.

Loads of screenshot confirmed cars are missing from that list... and some are listed twice. Hopefully they'll have it updated even more pretty soon, because there's not a whole lot to see in there as of now.

Rock on ! thats awesome, a GT4 site i can finally read ! haha. i'm not too good with japanese ^_^. But thats really cool. It's obviously not complete yet, as some of the features are not yet available.. so its more than likely that the car list is incomplete, the modes may not all be there.. the units have not been standardized.. etc. I'd predict it will be finished in by tomorrow..? i hope :-). Later-

What's with gamesites having to be flash all the time? They could at least provide some crummy static HTML version for the people who suffer from slow internet connections and those with disabilities. I mean, screen readers used by the blind can't read flash and don't get anybody anywhere. Sucks to be surfing all of these flash GT4 sites.

That BMW M3 race car is weird. It's like it's an alternative colour scheme that is based on the blue one, but made to be similar to one of the other ALMS cars:

Games are graphically driven thus they must feel the need to have their sites graphically driven too???

Flash however is quite an space-efficient medium to deliver high-quality visual media (both flashy transitions and pics/video etc etc) due to it's compression characteristics with the '.swf' extension. Most people hopefully know by now that you can 'right-click' go to 'settings' and increase the amount of media it'll load 'behind-the-scenes' so to speak.

I'd agree flash is great, it's an extremely powerful interactive medium for the Internet but all I'm saying is that a plain version would be nice too because sometimes flash effects can be a wee bit redundant, repetitive and hinder accessibility.

I mean it takes quite a while for me to get to a specific part of this GT4 site, if there was a simple version available I could access the content in less than quarter of the time and be on my merry way, but I survived didn't I?

dude this iste is awesome. I'm so happy that the north am site opened I've been dieing for one for a while since I can't read japanese

It's also odd that they put the #1 on it, the other M3 GTR doesn't have that number. This car certainly appears made up.

Perhaps they've made some colour scheme variations so the cars in multi-player races are more distinct.

Or maybe it's the race modification of the M3 GTR road car.

It's certainly possible that it's a racing modification...

Hmmm, racing body on an M3 GTR Street Car or something?

Doubtful. In my view it is simply an alternative PD colour scheme. BMW seem to be more than cooperative with PD at present.

Edit: thoughts on the red bumper paint on the Mclaren?

But why would Polyphony make up a color scheme? It doesn't appear to be an LM Edition or anything...

The red on the McLaren seems to me as if someone accidentally switched the red/white flag pattern on the front splitter.

Looking through photos of the 1997 LeMans and 1997 FIA GT season, I can't find any instance where the car ran a red splitter.

To provide the illusion of more cars. If PD has BMW consent, then an LM tag is not necessary. In fact, a similar red/black graphic redesign of the M3 GTR was used in a game called R: Racing.

Well that's because there is a team that uses that color scheme, but not painted that way...

We'll see in...4 days-ish.

Did u guys notice that it said the ford GT was FF rofl 550 HP to the front wheels

....I am also very dissapointed that PD dropped drifting mode..they better include it in the GT4 with online mode

Just because they havent mentioned 'drift mode' lately doesnt mean its dropped.

When did they drop drift mode!? I was so looking forward to it. I was really hoping to compare it to Forza's drift mode.

NOT only that, but the changed the numbers on the M3 and F1. I guess maybe it is a racing modification?

And why is Alpine Renault listed twice as that and Renault Alpine? Maybe they need a few American guys over at PD.

BTW, The359, what's the difference between a 1969 Corvette Stingray 350 and a Corvette Stingray L46 350? Or is that a typo like the 2 '54 Corvette Convertibles?
I guess so.

Sorry for going on so many random notes. I stick to what 'm saying. KY needs some American help.

Rather than race modification, I would say that it is race variation/customisation. Hence you can change elements of the paint scheme and choose your own racing number.

It definately appears to be typos and such.

And yes, oddly, the McLaren F1 GTR now has the wrong number on it as well...

Maybe these are early rendering shots?

Ive been thinking if this site is good or bad for us here in America?

I mean is this site the anticipation for a near release date!

💡

or is this site is just to calm us down because of a far relelase date???? :guilty: :indiff: 👎

I think that the BMW M3 GTR pic could be chopped.
The black parts on the hood finish with blue??

I do not know about the McLaren.

A senseless statement. Why would Sony America Photoshop cars from GT4?

I dont know may be the real version is in the game but they changed the way it looks on the website for some variation?

Oh and check out the pic i posted see what you think.

The site says release date 03/2005(Does that mean that we in Europe will wait 1-2 months after that?)If so we wont se GT4 until beginning of summer 2005!!! :yuck:
