My motors got Castrol Synthetic in it and a New Coil, Cap, Rotor, Plugs & Plug wires (NGK), O2 sensor, Coolant temp sensor, clean MAF and tb, new fuel filter, ran fuel injector cleaner + octane boost for 3 straight fillups, short ram intake w/blue K&N filter (blue oil = blue filter
), removed AIV from intake, Magnaflow hi-flow cat, new clutch...............AND IT STILL BOGS OUT LIKE CRAZY
I just don't know what to do anymore.........the only thing I haven't done is check the timing on it and it's in the factory locations so I don't see how it'd be off. It gives no codes and doesn't stumble or miss or anything.......it just lacks power. It feels good till about half throttle, then it's just bogs down till I hit 4500.....pulls good from 4500-6500 but before that it wont do crap. It still feels like it could do better over 4500 even. I can't even catch 2nd unless I'm turning. Going up steep hills I have to downshift and really get on it compared to my old Z. It doesn't burn or leak oil and it was owned by a very anal old man before me so I know he kept up with oil changes and didn't drive it hard.......
I always assumed it's just cause of the 4 cyl compaired to a V6.....you know lacking torque down low. But why does it bog down when I go to full throttle unless i'm over 4500rpm??
