This should be nice and easy for most ... Enjoy and good luck 👍

High-Speed Ring... Should be fun trying to minimize excessive speed during the long turns. I'm on it!

I expect someone'll break the GTRP record, as usual...

And look what I dug up:

Ron Vs. Jerry in TT-rs. Quite fitting this race, isn't it?

great track choice ron!
i'll be on it with my champs of the previous round and then ALL of the german tourers. see if i can beat metar in any class again :)

As mentioned ... great track choice, Ron 👍

Gingiba
I expect someone'll break the GTRP record, as usual...
Well, someone just did :sly:
Feels nice to be the first one to put down a time.

Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car '01 (R5):
30.383 // 56.773

Well, I´m off to the club.... See yous 👍

first pathetic tries from NL - all on r5's tho r3's might be good for cornering

jgtc:
toyota supra esso ultraflo 1.02.068
nissan motul pitwork z 1.00.204

race:
mazda rx7 racer 59.447

tourer:
audi ttr 1.01.465

a Q for ron: can we mix tyre compounds, like r5 front/r3 back?

First 3 cars.

Jag: 57.762 (31.038
RX-7: 58.078 (32.223)
Falcon: 58.832 (31.511)

Nice flowing lines on this track,👍

Honda Takata Dome NSX (RM's) - 1'01.110
Honda Takata Dome NSX (RSS's) - 59.149

It feels weird running my JGTC car with +20 power and -10 weight. Did about 15 laps on each tire set, still a lot of time to find with both of them but I want to try more cars. I might try the Woodone Supra next.

Back with more times, only spent about 10 to 15 laps on each.

BMW M3 GTR Race Car (RM's) - 1'01.876
BMW M3 GTR Race Car (RSS's) - 1'00.067

Mazda RX-7 Race Car LM (RM's) - 59.964
Mazda RX-7 Race Car LM (RSS's) - 58.253

And I'm done for tonight, I need some sleep now. Will definitely try the Woodone Supra tomorrow though.

Took the Jag out for a spin this morning.
59.573

I think I can find another sec but not sure I can break into the 57's.
Hey Ron, can you see those headlights in your rearview yet?? :sly:

I never expected so many times so early :) good to see them though and will update all the leaderboards tonight 👍

I went out last night and got so drunk I ended up having some trouble and ended up with a bruised ego and a very swollen hand that looks broken after I stupidly punched a hole in the wall of the club :grumpy: Its strapped up for now but haven't had a chance to race if its at all possible with my fingers not bending :scared: I might have to get my laps in sometime over the next few weeks.

...... and I'm off the booze for good also :sly:

I've been drinking for a long time mate and have yet to see anything good come from it, I'll keep trying though :dopey:

Wounded ego's heal quick enough, we're all humbled now and again.
Hope you didn't piss off Kelly or you'll need that hand quicker than you might think.

Took out some Germans for a spin:

arora: m3 gtr 1.00.537/32.845
arora: clk 59.811/32.141
arora: a4 tc 1.00.004/32.158
arora: astra 59.623/31.766

Didn't run but a short few with the astra so I'll be back on that one for sure, thought the clk turned out o.k. though.

Ron,

Been there!

Done that! :dunce:

Got the T-shirt :guilty:

Don't need to go there again!! Tomato soup for the head, ice for the hand.

And what's for the Ego?

Done some rounds in various cars, but never managed to stay calm enough in the long bends. They freak me out.

Wisdom is for the ego.

On the first long bend (first lefty) I look at the signs on the right, when I look at the road I screw it up. On the others I just brake hard into the apex and than punch it and hope for the best.

The first one doesn't seem so problematic - just a concentration, without steering too much (Oddly enough, it's not called oversteering). The others are the problem - the apex seems to be 20 meters long. I'll have to trial-and-error...

And what's for the Ego?

A good dose of reality usually takes care of the ego! :ouch:

Good tip on the signs in the first long left. I use the last sign as a marker to start moving out of the turn. Works for me! :sly:

Some more (and probably last) times,

Woodone Toms Supra (RM's) - 1'00.801
Woodone Toms Supra (RSS's) - 58.878

Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car (RSS's) - 57.197

I can't believe how much grip the Jag has, it's incredible.

Took a little time early this morning to run a few. Damn Daylite Savings Time has me all a mess. :grumpy:

Jag XJ220
T1- 32.144
FT - 59.532

Nissan Motul Pitwork Z
T1 - 32.576
FT - 1'00.839

Mercedes CLK tour Car
T1- 33.362
FT- 1'01.702

Plenty of room for improvement

ok ron if you say so here's one more:

audi a4 touring car (rss): 1.00.920

incredible turning capabilities, i feel like it is capable of much more. any of the fast guys wanna give it a try?

Well I'm not a fast guy, but I gave it a shot anyway. Got this on my 12th lap, probably another .2/.3 left in it for me but I won't try it again.

Audi A4 Touring Car (RSS's) - 1'00.088

EDIT: I lied, I felt the need to run the Audi again. Put another 15 laps in and took just over .3 off my original time. Kind of messed up the last corner a little so there is still time to gain but now I'm definately done woth this car.

Audi A4 Touring Car (RSS's) - 59.784

I just keep chipping away at it!

Jag:
59.182

I know I can break into the 58's but can't seem to find the extra couple of tenths. :dunce:

I've tried a few other cars but can't seem to break 1'.00.xxx.

arthritis in ankles and knees bad today so I get to sit and run cars. 👍

EDIT: Found 'em JAG - 58.965

just hotlapped a couple of laps and i hit a 57.618.
Didnt touch the gearing yet, will see how much i will improve without touching the gearing. :)

EDIT:// lap time improved to 57.4**!
