Tell me!!!

You win it randomly in the Apricot Hill Enduro. The Stratos (as I remember) is low-powered with a wide torque band (4,000 rpms from peak torque to peak power). Plenty of corners will be ripped to shreds...I highly recommend this one! And you can even rally in it...tho that takes a bit of mastery.

Anyways...Apricot Hill Enduro random prize. You either win the Stratos or some other car (I forget which one)

I've owned this game since 2001 and I've played it for 500hours (i think, if not more) and yet, I don't know everything about the game. I've yet to unlock the Lancia Startos, it's killing me not to know how to do it
Haha, I had the Stratos AGES ago. I think within 3 months of having the game. It was in... was it green? Or blue... I dont remember...

There are several different colors including a light lime and deep blue, and when you race-kit it...see, i don't wanna spoil!

Er... I think I had the lime one...
I had two, one I racekit'd but I totally dont remember.
Actually I think I had lime and red.

That's a rad car..incredibly stable & easy to drive when it's low-powered, but when you start hopping it up its mid-engine can make things hairy sometimes! I like it, though. it's got a Ferrari Dino engine, did you know that? Sounds massive, too.

'94 feather white subaru impreza sedan

It owns all other Japanese cars. It was the first Japanese car I ever bought, and it is my favorite. I have never lost a race with it and it destroys in everything in its horsepower class. It can also rally like none other.

I have spoken...so pay attention

Obviously, the 86.Extreme handling and fast drifts in SSR5.Plus, light weight, and it appears in Initial D !!!!
And the Spoon EK (It's a Civic), it's a monster in the Pikes Peak Downhill, and fast response in dirt races.

What's the 86?

mine has to be my Nismo Stagea Fully tuned 600hp and it drifts like a champ on standard settings played with a mate watching and he was amazed how sideways it could get

I love driving old Muscle Cars like Plymouth GTX. No cars have a better engine sound than old American Muscle Cars.
I enjoy drifting with a stock Nismo 270R in Apricot Hill Speedway.

Great. I love the GTX as well...nothing like taking that giant lowrider up against some RUF turbos and TVRs and winning in the GT Regionals! I am a tad disappointed with some of the muscle-car sounds in GT4. Like the Mercury Cougar '67. It sounds okay stock but with a racing or sports pipe it begins to sound more like a 6-cylinder. A STRAIGHT-6 :irked:

Yes, when I tune a Muscle Car, the car sounds like straight-6 or 4-cylinder.
This is why a Muscle car isn't a car to modify.

Sometimes a racing exhaust sounds good in GT2, but it's still often a generic sound when compared to many of the stock systems.

I choose the Nismo 400R.

This car has a perfect start: It doesn't burn tires, just go straight, speeding up.

This car corners like mad. Try putting it in a corner and keep turning on it. You'll be able to put the car in angles you've never made in other cars.

This car can stay in touch with GT-One in Enduro (of course, make sure you make a good job in corners, cause in straights no one can get GT-One. =P).

This car is "JUST" a R33 Skyline, what explains it's 642hp.

(Yeah, I'm in love with this car.. xD)

I surveyed a number of games, and ended up with the following rough estimates of number of uses of different cars. Unfortunately this does not include Rally events nor enduroes for the time-being. Nor GT300 or GT500. But it does jive with my memory.

I think most of my short form conventions will indicate to most people which car I mean. The Supra is the '93 turbo model. (Hmm. [R]AccordTypeR? Well, yes, apparently I used the prize from Luxury/RomeL somewhat extensively, in race-mod form, in one game).

Here's the GT300 and GT500 participants I used more than once:

8 [R]DaisinSilvia
7 [R]ConceptLM
7 [R]CerberaLM
5 [R]UnisiaGT-R
3 [R]GT-ONE'98
3 [R]DensoSupra

2 [R]Tigra
2 [R]Silhouette
2 [R]RX7LM
2 [R]Cerbera4.5
2 [R]CelicaRly

for me it is the the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI, especially when it is maxed out. it literally eats up any corner you throw at it, because of the yaw control system. :) 593hp is not bad, considering it can only be fitted with a Stage 3 Turbo.

[R]del Sol LM Edition

awesome car.. ive never driven a car before which had such an amazing handling.. outperforming every other car in corners.. accelerating like hell.. you can even do slalom easily at 200 mph..
just PERFECT :P

[R]Nissan Skyline Silhouette R30 Foumula.

It did the Laguna Seca in 1:11.888 with only 555HP! I didn't even change the the tires for it.

You win it randomly in the apricot Hilll endro. The Straots (as i remember) is low-powered with a wide torque band (4,000 rpms from peak torque to peak power). Plenty of corners will be ripped to shreds...i highly recommend this one! And you can even rally in it...tho that takes a bit of mastery.

I think the other car is the STP Taisan Viper, isn't it?

No, it's not. It's actually the Viper GTS-R. Ah, I miss those green stripes...

Ah, why so it is. I remember it now... I only unlocked it once upon a time, and I never could figure out what the car on the Arcade Mode Disc was. Thanks for shedding light on this for me, ty00123.

Currently my favorite is the Alfa Romeo GTV Twinspark, but the one before that was the Honda Prelude VTEC '94. I also have fond memories of the MR2 Spyder.
