Pretty cool. Why doesn't wiki have any info regarding this model?
They maxed out on info capacity? :dunce:

Wow, only 1108 produced. Check this here. Looks like the Netherlands is a cool country for spotting these anywhere.

EDIT: land sea air - Great call on that one. :)

undescript Mini something

I'm fairly sure that's a Riley Elf (as oppsed to the Wolseley Hornet) - the badge on the Hornet was on the grille itself, whereas the Elf's is on the grille surround. (From what I can gather from Google image search, anyway.)

another one of those Mini things

Not sure what that is, but it isn't Mini-based.

I can go back to the garage and check out the white one closer... the blue one I haven't seen around.

By the way, there's an Opel Speedster Turbo parked next to my flat... too bad my camera sucks at night shots.

Holy ****! That's one rare car. And I'd imagine having one in the US is even MORE rare. I like it.

Strange, it looks so slab-sided and, well, bland in silver.

It has been ages since I posted anything here. Mostly because I've had nothing all that amazing, but also because I've been pre-occupied. New women in your life are like that. ;)

So I got these:

Saturn Sky Red Line

I've seen the Solstice & Solstice GXP, and the standard Sky, each many times, but for the longest time it seemed like no one was buying the Red Line version. In fact, Vue aside, there's hardly any Red Line anything on the road. Does no one accept the fact that Saturn is no longer the boring, staid Saturn of old? The days of tupperware doors are long gone. The Sky RL may not be the last word in performance, but it's the best Saturn ever.

Maybach 57S

Also not the most amazing thing, but it was seen on the corner of 5th Avenue & 59th Street (NYC). Not a suprising spot given that location, but it was opposite...

Rolls Royce Phantom

The Plaza's own. It was surrounded by other limos, mostly of the S550 variety, but 2 of the LS460 kind (none were stretched). All with drivers waiting inside. Made my wait on that corner worth it, since the rain drove away everything else that might have been interesting.

Here's hoping the spring is more enlightening. I do have the NYIAS show coming in two weeks, so look forward to an image-heavy thread around then. I do.

I actually saw a Ion Red Line the other day, but decided not to take a picture of it (which means I took a picture but refuse to acknowledge that fact) because I figured I might get cancer from the entire idea.

Maybe you can get it cheap from that guy, if he doesn't know how rare it is. ;)

God can only hope. Pray for me as I find the owner and make an offer. i wonder how much that thing is actually worth.

Pontiac G8, the same one I saw last time but a better pic.

Ferrari 355

R34 GTR

Jaguar X-Type. It looked different to the normal ones, does anyone know which model this is?

HSV R8 Clubsport, NISMO 350Z, and an Infinity Skyline, never seen one before.

My second ever M3 E92!!!

And to one of my best spots yet...an STI Legacy. Id love to have one of these.

undescript Mini something

It is actually a Riley Elf. The Riley has its badge on the top of the grill rather than the Wolesley which has its badge in the centre of the grill. The Elf also had Hydro-lastic suspension whereas the Hornet had standard Mini suspension.

Couple of spots today:

First of the new Mazda6 Wagons I have seen on the road.

Aston Martin DB9 Volante

Turbo Lag, that is infact a Jaguar XJ series, not an X-type. This is Jaguar's flagship model.

Speaking of Jags, I saw this exact car drive past yesterday but wasn't quick enough on the camera. If it was the same car, it's a Tom Walkinshaw Racing XJS 5.3L V12. It was on dealer plates.

I thought it was a pretty cool spot, but I'm annoyed at myself for not having the camera at the ready! I've just emailed the seller in the UK to see if it's the same car.

Ion, definitely. Sky, possibly, but far less likely. I was looking for a cheap work vehicle a few months ago, and a local Toyota dealer tried to push a near-mint Ion coupe on me. I basically packed it up right there. Straight to the Honda lot I went...

Original Mini vs Smart Car - They would have actually fit two into the one spot if the Smart driver had reversed a bit more.

The Dukes must have been dining in Courtney Place this evening. Dodge Charger "General Lee"

OMG! The spot of my life so far!

Coming home from a bike ride, my bike on the back of the car, and as soon as I turned the corner I knew what it was...

It was parked on the side of the road dropping someone off. I thought it might not be there for long. I slowed and took a good look at it, before heading home to grab my camera (just a minute away). I got back and it was gone... :banghead:

Something inside of me said to hang around for a little bit as it may come back. I set a time limit of 15 minutes. I only had to wait five. :D I spun around and chased.

The guy was super nice. We waved and he stopped at the intersection longer than he needed so I get a few shots off. 👍

So stoked with seeing it twice - I was shaking.

Turns out my brother knows a guy who knows a guy who knows the owner. I'll investigate further. :sly:

Who else in this thread has posted one? Rue, myself, and?...

Nice spot! Yeah I think it's just me and you propping the R35 GT-R leaderboard right now. I bet you're going to start seeing a lot more too. They're popping up all over the place here. I think I photographed 9 or 10 different ones and have seen quite a few when I haven't had my camera handy. Yet to see a red one though, which I think would look smart.

Thanks for the comments guys. :)

Just like Doug and his CGT, I keep wanting to see it again. The sighting is only just over 24hrs old, and I've driven past the house about five times now. Just incase...
