(I see this most weeks!)

analog I don't think your co-op sidecar idea is that daft... in fact, I would love it! Though it's a bit like drawing the short straw to be the "passenger", unless it's made really involving (like the real thing) i.e. making sure you make the grabs and lean at just the right time - this would require co-operation from the rider, to make sure he/she doesn't throw you off!
But that's for TT2, not GT5 - unless...

Well drawing the short straw could be lessened if you took turns and it could indeed be involving if the "passenger" role was as important as IRL.
Meaning weight transfer and timing, etc. like you mentioned and could offer a whole new dimension to the gameplay of TT ( where it actually belongs, you're right ).
It would be best, in my opinion, if it was single screen not splitscreen and maybe online races whereby you'd have 16 bikes and 32 participants. ;)

Captain Roh, Chepu and all the others who might post "normal cars", this is not a normal car wish list, please read the first post and please change those pictures for something more suitable to this thread ( use your imagination ).

Oh and evilneal, sure hope that Mr Garrison contraption doesn't involve the new PS-Move......

Hey, they sponsor Renult F1 now and one of their drivers, Petrov, started off his racing career in the Lada Cup series.
I would not be totally surprised to find competitions like that or the Lada Revolution in GT5. Perhaps not with the circuits though.

Maybe this is the reason GT5 supports PS-Move ( and before you ask, this is indeed an unlikely vehicle ) as PD continuously expands its racing series ( even more archaic than NASCAR ). ;)

=Nissan Juke=
^ Um, there is a possibility that the Juke will be in GT5, if the Toyota RSC was in GT4. Then the Juke will be in a 70% chance in GT5.

I've always hoped for GT to include my weekend motor. It seems they dont realise its classic status to all us europeans.

=VW GTI Mk.II=

I would really love to drive this car too, one of my favourites of all time.

=Ferrari 250 GTO=
^ Um, these two have a clear chance of being in GT5.

Thanks Vanishing Boy, you ( and most others ) seem to get it, again if people want to post suggestions for vehicles they'd like to see, please read the first post of this thread.

THIS IS NOT A NORMAL CAR WISHLIST.

IF YOU'VE ALREADY POSTED PICTURES OF NORMAL CARS, PLEASE REPLACE THEM WITH VEHICLES WHICH ARE UNLIKELY ( AS CATEGORY, NOT BRAND/TYPE ) TO BE INCLUDED IN EITHER GT OR TT.

THANK YOU.

Sorry for using capitals, but please be original and use your imagination or just add different types of vehicles of the categories already present.

Again, no unlikely brands or type ( meaning Golf, 911, etc.) of normal cars/bikes, but different categories of vehicles regardless of brand or type.

unless PD are having some weird problems on the tracks then i doubt this car will be in it

and well anybody this guy knows too...:dopey:

How fast this thing can go? 20kph?

ob-dl221_segway_g_20090407005950.jpg

I'm sure it can beat the Daimler Motor Carriage. :D

^ Don't know why but I just think one of them falling on its side would be the actual funniest thing ever

Oh and if we're going with bus racing, its gotta be my school bus ;)

Different enough? :P

It is certainly different ( liked the shot where the "dolphin" is launching out of the water ;)), although i don't recall the GT/TT engine supporting lakes, sections of oceans or even canals. ( did state in the basic rules anything boat/ship related and anything flying were not eligible because they can't drive on a road, as the game is based on the existing GT/TT platform ).

Amphibious vehicles and hovercrafts are an exception ofcourse.
You have to have some rules, otherwise it would spiral out of control, but then again i think it already did. :indiff:

This seems to happen to every thread i create, thinking i've got an interesting idea/concept and hoping and sort of expecting it is shared or at least understood by the "likeminded" GT-community and it suddenly takes up a life all on its own.

Maybe i should change my username to Frankenstein.

:ouch: typical - I guess it seems I can't read after all!

Oh well, it amused me for a bit. And you're right about the thread thing, it's like Jurassic Park, sooner or later something's gonna happen that leads to all hell breaking loose and then you find yourself having to punch a Velociraptor in the balls...

Oh well, I'll try again!
Tandem! Co-op, style, yeah!
germany-cycling-tandem-61.jpg

These are just too awkward looking to exclude from any racing game...

Now we're on to something:

Tour de France style races? You have to work together to make it to the end!

For the rally stages?

A bit of trials for the street circuits (awesome if the track editor has autocross-style features!!)

Seriously though, a proper cycling sim / game would be fantastic...

Next time i will just make thread requesting fully functioning ashtrays and cupholders and the wonderful possibilities of creating "baby on board" stickers using livery editor. ;)

Thanks Griffith500, bikes as well as horsedrawn carriages or anything engineless i can't think of are welcome because they probably could be implemented ( that's where the PS-Move comes in...).
There is btw a Tour de France game, although i'm not sure it's just some "manager" sort of game.

Btw, that guy on the huge tandem in front kinda looks like my uncle ( and i'm afraid that's the kind of thing he may actually contemplate doing ).

haha! But mine comes with a free wrestler! I love how the people on the beach seem oblivious to the carnage that (in my mind) is about to ensue...

I'd love to do something like that, but I'd probably fall off it :D

Yeah, I just had a quick nosey - there are a few managery-type games, and only a couple of actual racing games - none of them really seem my cup of tea!

I'm an off-roader at heart, anyway :mischievous:

@ Dan_ If it is the Karussel, he's going the wrong way! :scared:

Those boatlike vehicles ( although not "allowed" following the rules ) made me think about the Scamander created by the late Peter Wheeler ( all you TVR fans will undoubtedly know him ), an off road amphibious vehicle he unvieled shortly before his untimely death, here it is;

001PeterWheeler.jpg

And this vehicle would fit the bill as it's neither bike or car, the great Dodge Tomahawk ( could also be included for all i care in both GT as TT ).

dodge-tomahawk-v10.jpg

And to include another unlikely engineless vehicle which is nicknamed "ship of the desert". ;)

Largest vehicle on Earth...(carrying the Space Shuttle)

fBU.jpg

Crawler - Transporter
The two tracked Crawler-Transporters previously used to move the assembled Apollo/Saturn from the VAB to the launch pad are now used for transporting Shuttle vehicles.
Transporter Statistics

* Weight: 2,721 metric tons (6 million pounds)
* Length: 40 meters (131 ft) wide, 35 meters (114ft) long
* Miles: 2,526 miles (1,243 miles since 1977)

Maximum speed is 1.6km (one mile) per hour loaded, about 3.2 km (2 miles) per hour unloaded.

Not sure there is any track it will fit on besides the 'tracks' to 39A and 39B...

Might be just me, but i really love this GMC motorhome for the way it looks.

1978_GMC_Final_800.jpg

And how about this MonoTracer by Peraves ( with retractable sidewheels ), part car/part bike ( and with a hint of Audi R8 ). ;)

peraves_monotracer.jpg

And here's a vehicle with actual mechanical legs........( created for minimal forest damage, leaving no tracks ).

Unlikely Vehicle? Mazda MX-3 GS 1.8 V6, and that makes me sad
Someone here must know the love for this car

It is an interesting car for its small V6 engine agreed, but this is not the thread for debating or posting normal cars, please read the first post or visit The Vanishing Boy's vehicle wish list where you can discuss the MX-3. ;)
